Abstract
Student Subjective Well-Being refers to students' cognitive and affective evaluations based on their school environment, encompassing several components: academic satisfaction, learning engagement, social connections, and self-efficacy. Student well-being at school is essential and is related to their relationship with teachers, who serve as parental figures in the school setting. This study aims to examine the relationship between teacher-student relationships and the subjective well-being of school children aged 10-12 years at School X in the Tangerang area. The research sample consisted of 101 students aged 10-12 years, obtained using total sampling technique at School X. The research instruments included the Student Version of the Teacher-Student Relationship Inventory (Ang et al., 2020) and the Student Subjective Well-Being Questionnaire (Renshaw et al., 2015). Data analysis used Pearson correlation test. The results showed a moderately significant positive relationship between teacher-student relationships and the subjective well-being of children aged 10-12 years at School X (r = 0.456; p = 0.000). The closer the children's bond with their teachers and the lower the conflict, the higher the subjective well-being of school children aged 10-12 years at School X. Kesejahteraan subyektif anak sekolah merupakan penilaian kognitif serta afektif berdasarkan lingkungan sekolah siswa yang mencangkup beberapa bagian yaitu kepuasan akademik, keterlibatan pembelajaran, koneksi sosial, serta efikasi diri. Kesejahteraan anak di sekolah merupakan hal yang penting untuk dimiliki, dan hal ini berkaitan dengan relasinya dengan guru sebagai figur pengganti orang tua di sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan relasi guru-murid dengan kesejahteraan subyektif anak sekolah usia 10-12 tahun di sekolah X pada wilayah Tangerang. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 101 siswa usia 10-12 tahun yang diperoleh menggunakan teknik total sampling pada sekolah X. Instrumen penelitian ini terdiri dari Student Version of the Teacher-Student Relationship Inventory (Ang et al., 2020) dan Student Subjective Well-being Questionnaire (Renshaw et al., 2015). Analisis data menggunakan uji korelasi Pearson. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat hubungan yang positif signifikan pada taraf sedang antara relasi guru-murid dengan kesejahteraan subyektif anak usia 10-12 tahun di sekolah X (r = 0.456; p = 0.000). Semakin tinggi kedekatan anak dengan guru dan minim konflik, semakin tinggi kesejahteraan subyektif anak sekolah usia 10-12 tahun di sekolah X.
