Abstract
In the digital era, the PPID of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI) Website (E-PPID) https://ppid.dpr.go.id serves as an official platform for delivering information to the public in an open, transparent, and accountable manner. In its implementation, the role of the Public Relations Office of the Secretariat General of the DPR RI as the manager of public information is an important factor in shaping the perceptions and satisfaction of public information applicants. This study aims to identify and explain the relationship between the credibility of the Public Relations Office of the Secretariat General of the DPR RI in managing the PPID website and the level of satisfaction of public information applicants at the DPR RI. This study is based on the Source Credibility Theory and the Information User Satisfaction Theory. Public relations credibility is measured through the dimensions of expertise, trustworthiness, and attractiveness, while applicant satisfaction is measured through information quality, ease of access, system reliability, technical support, and the suitability of information to users’ needs. This study employs a quantitative approach using a survey method. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling of individuals who have accessed or used the DPR RI PPID website, with a total sample of 134 respondents. Data analysis is conducted using validity tests, reliability tests, normality tests, the Pearson Product-Moment correlation test, and the correlational t-test. The results show that there is a positive and significant relationship between the credibility of the Public Relations Office of the Secretariat General of the DPR RI in managing the PPID website and the level of satisfaction of public information applicants, with a correlation coefficient of 0.702 and a significance level of 0.000. These findings indicate that the higher the credibility of public relations in managing and presenting public information, the higher the level of satisfaction of public information applicants. Dalam pelaksanaannya, peran Humas Setjen DPR RI sebagai pengelola informasi publik menjadi faktor penting dalam membentuk persepsi dan kepuasan pemohon informasi publik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menjelaskan hubungan antara kredibilitas Humas Setjen DPR RI dalam mengelola website PPID dengan tingkat kepuasan pemohon informasi publik di DPR RI. Penelitian ini berpijak pada Teori Kredibilitas Sumber dan Teori kepuasan pengguna informasi. Kredibilitas Humas diukur melalui dimensi keahlian, keterpercayaan, dan daya tarik, sedangkan kepuasan pemohon diukur melalui kualitas informasi, kemudahan akses, keandalan sistem, dukungan teknis, serta kesesuaian informasi dengan kebutuhan pengguna. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan purposive sampling terhadap masyarakat yang pernah mengakses atau menggunakan website PPID DPR RI, dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 134 responden. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji normalitas, uji korelasi Pearson Product Moment, serta uji t korelasional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara kredibilitas Humas Setjen DPR RI dalam mengelola website PPID dengan tingkat kepuasan pemohon informasi publik, dengan nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,702 dan tingkat signifikansi 0,000. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi kredibilitas Humas dalam mengelola dan menyajikan informasi publik, maka semakin tinggi pula tingkat kepuasan pemohon informasi publik.
