Abstract
The growth of urban population which tends to increase from year to year has led to an increase in demand for housing needs. Vertical Housing are a good way to solve the problem of housing needs, especially in areas where the population continues to increase because the construction of vertical housing can reduce land use and make city open spaces more spacious. These vertical housing are designed as low cost housing that can accommodate the needs of urbanized communities with the concept of energy-efficient architecture. The concept of energy-efficient architecture applied to the design includes natural lighting, ventilation, and also environmentally friendly building materials. Keywords: Vertical Housing, Low Cost Housing, Energy-Efficient Architecture, Urbanization Society Pertumbuhan penduduk perkotaan yang cenderung meningkat dari tahun ke tahun telah menimbulkan peningkatan permintaan terhadap kebutuhan akan tempat tinggal. Pembangunan rumah susun merupakan cara yang baik untuk memecahan masalah kebutuhan tempat tinggal terutama di daerah yang penduduknya terus meningkat karena pembangunan rumah susun dapat mengurangi penggunaan tanah dan membuat ruang-ruang terbuka kota lebih lega Rumah susun yang dirancang merupakan rumah susun sederhana milik yang dapat mengakomodasi kebutuhan masyarakat urbanisasi dengan konsep arsitektur hemat energi. Konsep arsitektur hemat energi yang diterapkan pada rancangan diantaranya terkait pencahayaan alami, penghawaan, dan juga material bangunan yang ramah lingkungan.
