Abstract

Every structure that has mass and elasticity is not free from vibration problems, one of which is the pycohydro power plant piping structure which cannot be separated from loading due to the influence of pressure, fluid density, fluid flow and the mass of the pipe itself, which causes vibrations. This study discusses simulations and experiments regarding the vibration characteristics of PVC (Polli vinyl chloride) pipes. Simulations were carried out with variations in fluid flow velocity of 0.068 m/s, 0.136 m/s and 0.204 m/s using Ansys. Experiments were carried out using variations in the pump rotation speed of 450 rpm, 900 rpm, and 1340 rpm. Retrieval of vibration data using a vibration sensor that is placed on each pipe segment on the x-axis, y-axis and z-axis. The results of simulation and experimental data are in the form of a vibration graph which shows the pump rotation of 450 rpm and the fluid speed of 0.013 m/s resulting in a high amplitude value and at 1430 rpm with a fluid speed of 0.206 m/s resulting in excessive peak resonance frequency. Keywords: Vibration analysis, Ansys 18.1, Pipe, Fast Fourier Transform. Setiap stuktur mempunyai masa dan elastisitas sehingga menimbulkan permasalahan getaran. Pada struktur perpipaan pembangkit listrik pikohidro mengalami pembebanan akibat pengaruh dari tekanan, massa jenis fluida, aliran fluida dan massa pipa itu sendiri sehingga mengakibatkan timbulnya getaran. Pada penelitian ini membahas mengenai simulasi dan eksperimen getaran pada pipa jenis PVC (Polli vinil klorida). Simulasi silakukan dengan variasi kecepatan aliran fluida sebesar 0.068 m/s, 0.136 m/s, dan 0.204 m/s2 menggunakan Ansys. Eksperimen dilakukan menggunakan variasi kecepatan putaran pompa yaitu sebesar 450 rpm, 900 rpm, dan 1340 rpm. Pengambilan data getaran dengan alat sensor getaran yang diletakan pada setiap segmen pipa pada sumbu x, sumbu y dan sumbu z. Hasil pengolahan data simulasi dan eksperimen dengan menggunakan Fast Fourier Transform dalam bentuk grafik getaran yang menunjukan pada putaran pompa 450 rpm dan kecepatan fluida 0.013 m/s mengakibatkan nilai amplitudo menjadi tinggi dan pada putaran pompa 1430 rpm dengan kecepatan fluida 0.206 m/s mengakibatkan puncak frekuensi resonansi yang berlebih.
