Abstract

PT. Ancol Terang Metal Printing Industri has four machines in carrying out the production activities of printing cans that last 24 hours every day, so that maintenance and maintenance activities need to be done well and scheduled so as not to disrupt the ongoing production activities. The current engine damage is still high and requires considerable repair time. Scheduling preventive maintenance is needed to reduce downtime on the machine, so as not to hamper and disrupt the production schedule. The proposed scheduling is preventive maintenance using the PDCA method (Plan, Do, Check, Action). The methodology used in the writing of this Practice Work using field study, that is by implementing preventive maintenance directly about the maintenance machine production system at PT. Ancol Terang MPI. Writing is done for analysis on the system maintenance management system Coater and provide suggestions for improvements to the maintenance system by implementing the damage prevention system. Job Task Practice is to complete a case study covering engineering aspects of machinery and / or reports on an activity or process of Preventive Maintenance that took place in the company of PT. Ancol Terang MPI. The objectives of the practical work are as follows: 1. Learn and simplify the way machine work and maintenance. 2. Getting information about the production machine maintenance process. 3. Knowing the constraints faced and the solutions used in the process of maintenance of production machinery. 4. Knowing how to analyze machine damage, machine repair, machine installation and equipment supply of machine tools or spare parts. Keywords: preventive maintenance, PDCA (Plan, Do, Check, Action), maintenance schedule. PT. Ancol Terang Metal Printing Industri memiliki empat mesin dalam menjalankan kegiatan produksi percetakan kaleng yang berlangsung 24 jam setiap harinya, sehingga kegiatan perawatan dan pemeliharaan perlu dilakukan dengan baik dan dijadwalkan agar tidak mengganggu kegiatan produksi yang sedang berlangsung. Kerusakan mesin saat ini masih terhitung tinggi dan memerlukan waktu perbaikan yang cukup lama. Penjadwalan preventive maintenance diperlukan untuk mengurangi downtime pada mesin, sehingga tidak menghambat dan mengganggu jadwal produksi. Penjadwalan yang diusulkan adalah preventive maintenance dengan metode PDCA (Plan, Do, Check, Action). Adapun metodologi yang digunakan dalam penulisan Kerja Praktik ini menggunakan studi lapangan, yaitu dengan melaksanakan preventive maintenance secara langsung mengenai sistem perawatan mesin produksi di PT. Ancol Terang MPI. Penulisan ini dilakukan untuk analisis pada sistem manajemen pemeliharaan mesin Coater serta memberikan usulan perbaikan terhadap sistem perawatan dengan menerapkan sistem pencegahan kerusakan. Tugas Kerja Praktik ini adalah untuk menyelesaikan studi kasus yang mencakup aspek teknik mesin dan atau laporan tentang suatu kegiatan atau proses Preventive Maintenance yang berlangsung di perusahaan PT. Ancol Terang MPI. Adapun tujuan dari kerja praktik adalah sebagai berikut: 1. Mempelajari dan mempermudah cara kerja dan perawatan mesin. 2. Mendapatkan informasi tentang proses pemeliharaan mesin produksi. 3. Mengetahui hambatan-hambatan yang dihadapi serta solusi yang digunakan dalam proses pemeliharaan mesin produksi. 4. Mengetahui cara menganalisa kerusakan mesin, perbaikan mesin, pemasangan mesin serta penyediaan perlengkapan alat-alat atau spare part mesin.
