Abstract
The rapid growth of information technology has accelerated digitalization in many sectors, including the culinary industry. This study focuses on designing a back-end system to support the development of a food recommendation feature using the Collaborative Filtering method, built with the CodeIgniter 4 framework. It also integrates the Midtrans payment gateway to make online transactions easier. The case study was carried out at Warung Emak, a small food business aiming to improve its services and customer experience through personalized menu recommendations and a smoother, more efficient payment process. The system allows users to get menu suggestions based on item similarity, using ratings from other customers and also allows user to get recommendation using price range that are collected from purchase history . By integrating Midtrans, the system also makes it simple and secure for users to pay using various methods. The results of this research show that the system can deliver more relevant menu recommendations and speed up the payment process significantly. In the end, this solution is expected to help increase customer satisfaction and improve the operational efficiency of Warung Emak. Perkembangan teknologi informasi yang pesat telah mendorong digitalisasi di berbagai sektor, termasuk dalam industri kuliner. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sistem back-end yang mendukung pengembangan fitur rekomendasi menu makanan dengan memanfaatkan metode Collaborative Filtering dan dibangun menggunakan framework CodeIgniter 4, serta mengintegrasikan layanan payment gateaway Midtrans untuk mendukung proses transaksi secara daring. Studi kasus dilakukan pada Warung Emak, sebuah usaha kuliner yang ingin meningkatkan pelayanan dan pengalaman pengguna melalui personalisasi rekomendasi menu dan sistem pembayaran yang efisien. Sistem yang dikembangkan memungkinkan pengguna menerima rekomendasi menu berdasarkan kesamaan item, dengan mengacu pada rating yang diberikan oleh pengguna lain dengan item yang sama dan juga memberikan rekomendasi berdasarkan rentan harga yang diambil dari riwayat pembelian. Selain itu, integrasi Midtrans Memberikan kemudahan bagi pengguna untuk menyelesaikan pembayaran melalui beragam metode yang terjamin keamanannya dan mudah digunakan. Hasil penelitian ini memperlihatkan bahwa sistem yang dibuat mampu meningkatkan relevansi rekomendasi menu serta mempercepat proses transaksi secara signifikan. Dengan demikian, sistem ini diharapkan mampu memberikan kontribusi terhadap peningkatan kepuasan pelanggan dan efisiensi operasional pada Warung Emak.
