Abstract

Sexual violence against women is a serious problem with high incidence rates, both in the domestic and public spheres. This phenomenon is often influenced by individual personality and cultural factors that perpetuate gender inequality. This study aims to analyze the relationship between the dark tetrad and support for sexual violence against women, as well as the relationship between machismo culture and support for sexual violence against women. This study used a quantitative approach with a correlational design. The study sample consisted of 149 workers. The analysis was conducted to examine the relationship between the dark tetrad personality variables and machismo culture with acceptance toward sexual violence. The results showed a significant relationship between the dark tetrad and support for sexual violence, thus accepting the first hypothesis. Furthermore, there was a significant relationship between machismo culture and support for sexual violence, thus accepting the second hypothesis. Keywords: Dark Tetrad, Machismo Culture, and Acceptance towards Sexual Violance Kekerasan seksual terhadap wanita merupakan permasalahan serius yang masih tinggi angka kejadiannya, baik di ranah domestik maupun publik. Fenomena ini seringkali dipengaruhi oleh faktor kepribadian individu dan budaya yang melanggengkan ketidaksetaraan gender. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara dark tetrad dengan dukungan terhadap kekerasan seksual pada wanita, serta hubungan budaya machismo dengan dukungan terhadap kekerasan seksual pada wanita. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 149 pekerja. Analisis dilakukan untuk melihat keterkaitan variabel kepribadian dark tetrad dan budaya machismo terhadap acceptance toward sexual violence. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan signifikan antara dark tetrad dengan dukungan terhadap kekerasan seksual, sehingga hipotesis pertama diterima. Selain itu, terdapat hubungan signifikan antara budaya machismo dengan dukungan terhadap kekerasan seksual, sehingga hipotesis kedua juga diterima.
