Abstract
The advantages of the speed of the duration of the implementation of teacher professional education require a technical study of the implementation of the media used. Social construction theory of technology is used to examine technological artifacts through the components of Relevant Social Groups, Interpretative technology, closure & stabilization and wider context. The purpose of this study is to analyze the process of social construction of technology formed by the use of an independent teaching platform. As well as analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of using the independent teaching platform in the teacher professional education program. This research uses the constructivism paradigm with a qualitative approach. While the method used is a case study conducted at schools in the South Tangerang area. The results showed that in the implementation of the Teacher Professional Education Program using the independent teaching platform, there has been a process of social construction of technology through a process of variation and selection intended for the program. An important point in the technical advantages of implementing PPG is due to the time efficiency and ease of use of the platform, but there are communication barriers that hinder the communication process during PPG. Good crisis management countermeasures need to be carried out so that the next PPG implementation with PMM, which is now the GTK Room, can be carried out better. Keywords: Social construction of technology, Merdeka teaching platform, Teacher professional education Adanya keunggulan dari kecepatan durasi pelaksanaan pendidikan profesi guru memerlukan kajian teknis pelaksanaan pada media yang digunakan. Teori konstrusi sosial teknologi digunakan untuk mengkaji artefak teknologi melalui komponen Relevant Social Groups, Interpretative technology , closure & stabilization dan wider context. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis proses konstruksi sosial teknologi yang terbentuk dengan penggunaan platform merdeka mengajar. Serta menganalisis kekurangan dan kelebihan penggunaan pltaform merdeka mengajar pada program pendidikan profesi guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan paradigma konstruktivisme dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Sedangkan metode yang digunakan adalah studi kasus yang dilakukan pada sekolah di wilayah Tangerang Selatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pada pelaksanaan Program Pendidikan Profesi Guru dengan menggunakan platform merdeka mengajar telah terjadi proses konstuksi sosial teknologi melalui proses variasi dan seleksi yang diperuntukan bagi program tersebut. Poin penting dalam kelebihan teknis pelaksanaan PPG ini karena adanya efisiensi waktu dan kemudahan penggunaan platform, namun terjadi hambatan komunikasi yang menghambat proses komunikasi selama PPG. Penanggulangan manajemen krisis yang baik perlu dilakukan agar pelaksanaan PPG selanjutnya dengan PMM, yang Sekarang Ruang GTK dapat dilakukan dengan lebih baik.
