Abstract
Family Laundry is a laundry business that has been operating for 10 years in West Jakarta and serves a wide range of customers. However, it has never had a professionally designed visual identity or branding system. The absence of a strong visual identity has resulted in an inconsistent brand image in the eyes of consumers, even though the business already has a loyal customer base. Therefore, a visual identity design is needed, including a logo, color palette, typography, and other supporting elements, to create a positive impression and increase consumer trust. This research applies the Design Thinking approach through the stages of empathy, define, ideate, prototype, and test. The design results in a new visual identity system that highlights values of family, speed, cleanliness, as well as a modern and professional look. With a wellstructured visual identity, Family Laundry is expected to strengthen its brand image and enhance its competitiveness in the growing laundry service industry. Keywords: Laundry, Visual Identity, Brand Image, Branding, Design Thinking Family Laundry merupakan usaha laundry yang telah berjalan selama 10 tahun di Jakarta Barat dan melayani berbagai kalangan, namun belum pernah memiliki identitas visual atau sistem branding yang dirancang secara profesional. Ketiadaan identitas visual yang kuat membuat citra merek Family Laundry kurang konsisten di mata konsumen, meskipun usaha ini telah memiliki pelanggan tetap. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan perancangan identitas visual yang mencakup logo, warna, tipografi, serta elemen pendukung lainnya guna menciptakan kesan yang baik dan meningkatkan kepercayaan konsumen. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Design Thinking melalui tahapan empati, definisi, ideasi, prototype, dan uji coba. Hasil perancangan menghasilkan sistem identitas visual baru yang menonjolkan nilai kekeluargaan, kecepatan, kebersihan, serta kesan modern dan profesional. Dengan hadirnya identitas visual yang terstruktur, Family Laundry diharapkan mampu memperkuat citra merek dan meningkatkan daya saing di industri jasa laundry yang semakin berkembang.
