Abstract

Digital Library is a system that has a variety of services and information objects that support object access that information through digital devices. Ideally, each library use technology to support information management library collection. The problem is whether the functions within the application is already running with optimal Slims. How Slims in catalog search performance. In the application there is a feature Slims OPAC (Online Public Access Catalog) is a database of catalog records that are accessed by information seekers. Testing is very important for the development of software. One method of testing is black box testing. Black box testing focuses on the functional requirements of the software. The research methodology used in the study using literature review, interviews and surveys. And penggujian using Recall and precesion showed unsatisfactory results where the value is still less than optimal precesion compared with the recall value. Perpustakaan digital adalah sebuah sistem yang memiliki beragam layanan dan obyek informasi yang mendukung akses obyek informasi tersebut melalui perangkat digital. Idealnya, setiap perpustakaan memanfaatkan kecanggihan teknologi informasi untuk mendukung pengelolaan koleksi perpustakaan. Permasalahannya apakah fungsi-fungsi didalam aplikasi SLiMS sudah berjalan dengan optimal. Bagaimana kinerja SLiMS dalam pencarian katalog. Pada aplikasi SLiMS ada fitur OPAC (Online Public Access Catalog) yaitu suatu database dari record-record catalog yang diakses oleh pencari informasi. Pengujian sangat penting untuk perkembangan perangkat lunak. Salah satu metode pengujian adalah pengujian black box. Pengujian black box berfokus pada persyaratan fungsional perangkat lunak. Metodologi penelitian yang dipergunakan dalam penelitian menggunakan tinjauan pustaka, wawancara dan survey. Dan penggujian menggunakan Recall and Precesion menunjukan hasil yang kurang memuaskan dimana nilai Precesion masih kurang optimal dibandingkan dengan nilai recall. Kata Kunci : Aplikasi SLiMS, OPAC, Black box, Recall and Precesion.
