Abstract

Teknologi saat ini berkembang sangat pesat. Perkembangan teknologi ini dirancang untuk membantu manusia agar dapat melakukan aktifitas dengan lebih mudah dan cepat. Jika dahulu kita harus pergi ke toko untuk membeli sesuatu, namum sekarang kita dapat berbelanja dari mana saja dengan menggunakan internet melalui toko online, begitu juga dengan proses pelelangan. Saat ini banyak aplikasi yang memudahkan untuk melakukan proses pelelangan suatu barang atau jasa yang dilakukan secara online menggunakan internet.Perkembangan teknologi diperkuat dengan kemunculan pemrograman berbasis website. Dengan adanya pemrograman berbasis website ini segala sesuatu dapat dilakukan secara online. Aplikasi-aplikasi berbasis website sangat mudah digunakan karena dapat dibuka melalui berbagai perangkat yang tersedia asalkan perangkat tersebut memiliki browser dan koneksi internet. Oleh karena itu penulis berminat untuk mengembangkan aplikasi berbasis website.PT. Balai Lelang Megatama (Otolink) adalah Perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang pelelangan otomotif yang meliputi sepeda motor dan mobil. Aplikasi lelang kendaraan berbasis website bertujuan untuk memudahkan peserta lelang dalam mengikuti lelang kendaraan yang diadakan oleh PT. Balai Lelang Megatama (Otolink). Kata Kunci: Website, Lelang, Kendaraan, Otomotif, Online Technology is currently developing very rapidly. The development of technology designed to help people to be able to perform activities more easily and quickly. If the earlier times we had to go to the store to shop, we can now shop from home using the internet and online stores, as well as auction processing. Currently, there are many applications that make bidding process for goods or services easier by online using the internet.The emerging technology is strengthened by the presence of web-based programming. With the web-based programming everything can be done online. Web-based applications are very easy to use because it can be opened through a variety of devices available as long as the device has a browser and an Internet connection. Therefore, the authors are interested to develop web-based applications.PT. Balai Lelang Megatama (Otolink) is a company engaged in automobile auctions that include motorcycles and cars.
