Abstract

Perkembangan jaringan telah menciptakan permintaan yang signifikan terhadap alat dan tenaga teknis, mendorong perusahaan untuk berinvestasi secara besar-besaran dalam mencapai nol downtime. Pemantauan jaringan telah menjadi populer sebagai cara untuk mengumpulkan data dan meningkatkan kinerja jaringan. Alat-alat umum meliputi Sistem Pemantauan Jaringan yang berbasis pada protokol manajemen standar seperti SNMP, yang memungkinkan administrator memantau komponen jaringan. SolarWinds menawarkan solusi seperti Network Performance Monitor dan NetFlow Traffic Analyzer untuk mendeteksi anomali, mengelola lalu lintas, dan memfasilitasi pemantauan real-time, membantu administrator mengelola masalah jaringan secara proaktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sistem monitoring jaringan menggunakan SolarWinds yang terintegrasi dengan Sistem Pendukung Keputusan (SPK) berbasis metode Simple Additive Weighting (SAW). SolarWinds digunakan untuk memantau performa jaringan secara real-time, sementara metode SAW dimanfaatkan untuk membantu pengambilan keputusan dalam menentukan prioritas penanganan masalah jaringan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kombinasi ini dapat meningkatkan efisiensi dalam pengelolaan jaringan. Sistem ini diharapkan mampu memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam pengambilan keputusan yang cepat dan akurat di lingkungan jaringan komputer. The evolution of networks has created significant demand for tools and technical expertise, prompting companies to invest heavily in achieving zero downtime. Network Monitoring has become popular as a means of collecting data and improving network performance. Common tools include Network Monitoring Systems based on standard management protocols such as SNMP, which allow administrators to monitor network components. SolarWinds offers solutions like Network Performance Monitor and NetFlow Traffic Analyzer to detect anomalies, manage traffic, and facilitate real-time monitoring, helping administrators proactively manage network issues. This study purposes to develop a network monitoring system using SolarWinds integrated with a Decision Support System (DSS) based on the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method. SolarWinds is used to monitor network performance in real-time, while the SAW method is utilized to assist in decision-making when determining the priority of network problem handling. The results of the study indicate that this combination can improve efficiency in network management. This system is expected to make a significant contribution to fast and accurate decision-making in computer network environments.
