Abstract
Penelitian ini membahas penggunaan metode Honey Bee Mating Optimization (HBMO) untuk tuning parameter Fuzzy Logic Controller (FLC) Tipe 2 dalam pengaturan kecepatan putaran motor AC. Motor AC banyak digunakan dalam aplikasi industri, namun optimalisasi performa dalam kondisi dinamis tetap menjadi tantangan signifikan. FLC Tipe 2 dipilih karena kemampuannya dalam menangani ketidakpastian yang lebih kompleks dibandingkan FLC Tipe 1. Integrasi HBMO memungkinkan optimasi parameter FLC Tipe 2, sehingga menghasilkan kinerja yang lebih baik dalam hal stabilitas dan efisiensi energi. Penelitian ini melakukan simulasi dan evaluasi terhadap sistem pengaturan kecepatan motor AC menggunakan HBMO untuk tuning FLC Tipe 2. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan bahwa metode yang diusulkan mampu meningkatkan kinerja sistem secara signifikan dibandingkan dengan metode kontrol konvensional, terutama dalam menghadapi variasi beban dan gangguan eksternal. Penggunaan HBMO tidak hanya meningkatkan akurasi dalam tuning parameter, tetapi juga mengurangi beban komputasi yang diperlukan. Penelitian ini diharapkan memberikan kontribusi dalam pengembangan metode optimasi yang lebih efektif untuk aplikasi industri, khususnya dalam sistem pengaturan motor AC pada HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning). This research discusses the use of the Honey Bee Mating Optimization (HBMO) method for tuning the parameters of a Type 2 Fuzzy Logic Controller (FLC) in controlling the rotational speed of AC motors. AC motors are widely used in industrial applications, but optimizing performance in dynamic environments remains a significant challenge. Type 2 FLC is chosen for its ability to handle more complex uncertainties compared to Type 1 FLC. The integration of HBMO allows for the optimization of Type 2 FLC parameters, resulting in improved performance in terms of stability and energy efficiency. This study simulates and evaluates the speed control system of an AC motor using HBMO for tuning Type 2 FLC parameters. The simulation results show that the proposed method significantly enhances system performance compared to conventional control methods, especially in dealing with load variations and external disturbances. The use of HBMO not only improves accuracy in parameter tuning but also reduces the computational load required. This research is expected to contribute to the development of more effective optimization methods for industrial applications, particularly in AC motor control systems for HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning).
