Abstract
Fenomena quiet quitting semakin banyak diperbincangkan, khususnya pada Generasi Z yang dikenal kritis, fleksibel, namun rentan terhadap disengagement. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara kebahagiaan dan quiet quitting pada karyawan Generasi Z dewasa awal di wilayah Jabodetabek. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional, melibatkan 169 responden yang dipilih menggunakan purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian meliputi Oxford Happiness Questionnaire (OHQ) untuk mengukur kebahagiaan dan Quiet Quitting Scale (QQS) untuk menilai kecenderungan quiet quitting. Hasil uji normalitas menunjukkan data tidak berdistribusi normal, sehingga analisis dilakukan dengan uji korelasi Spearman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan negatif signifikan antara kebahagiaan dan quiet quitting (r = -0,508, p < 0,01), yang mengindikasikan semakin tinggi kebahagiaan individu, semakin rendah kecenderungan mereka menarik diri dari pekerjaan. Temuan ini menegaskan peran kebahagiaan sebagai faktor protektif dalam meningkatkan keterlibatan, komitmen, dan loyalitas karyawan Generasi Z.The phenomenon of quiet quitting has gained increasing attention, particularly among Generation Z, who are known to be critical, flexible, yet prone to disengagement. This study aims to examine the relationship between happiness and quiet quitting among early adult Generation Z employees in the Jabodetabek area. A quantitative method with a correlational design was employed, involving 169 respondents selected through purposive sampling. The instruments used were the Oxford Happiness Questionnaire (OHQ) to measure happiness and the Quiet Quitting Scale (QQS) to assess the tendency of quiet quitting. Normality test results indicated that the data were not normally distributed, thus Spearman correlation was applied for analysis. The results revealed a significant negative relationship between happiness and quiet quitting (r = -0.508, p < 0.01), indicating that higher levels of individual happiness correspond to a lower tendency to withdraw from work responsibilities. These findings underscore the protective role of happiness in enhancing engagement, commitment, and loyalty among Generation Z employees.
