Abstract
The development of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) campaigns that are integrated into business strategies and operations has become one of BlibliCare’s approaches to engaging with society. One of its initiatives is a campaign titled BlibliCare Uplifting Bright Minds: Building Learning Experience. This project focuses on designing the main campaign medium, an illustrated children’s storybook titled “3 Forest Friends”, which aims to convey moral values about empathy and care for others. The book is designed with an illustrative and narrative approach tailored to the cognitive development of children aged 4–6 years. It takes the form of a hard book with cartoon-style visuals, bright colors, and uniquely squareshaped animal characters as a visual identity. Based on design testing with children and the general public, the illustrations and storyline of “3 Forest Friends” successfully attract children’s attention and enhance their understanding of the moral messages presented. The square-shaped animal characters also stimulate critical thinking and strengthen memory retention. Thus, this book functions not only as a CSR campaign medium but also as an effective and enjoyable character education tool. Keywords: CSR, BlibliCare, Children’s Illustration, Character Design, Moral Learning, Storybook Perkembangan kampanye Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) yang terintegrasi dalam strategi dan operasional bisnis menjadi salah satu cara BlibliCare berinteraksi dengan masyarakat. Salah satu bentuk implementasinya adalah kampanye bertajuk BlibliCare Uplifting Bright Minds: Building Learning Experience. Perancangan ini berfokus pada media utama kampanye, yaitu buku cerita ilustrasi anak berjudul “3 Sahabat Hutan”, yang bertujuan menyampaikan nilai moral tentang empati dan kepedulian terhadap sesama. Buku ini dirancang dengan pendekatan ilustratif dan naratif yang disesuaikan dengan tahap perkembangan kognitif anak usia 4–6 tahun. Bentuk buku berupa hard book dengan gaya visual kartun, penggunaan warna-warna cerah, serta karakter hewan yang memiliki ciri khas bentuk kotak sebagai identitas visual. Berdasarkan hasil uji desain terhadap anak-anak dan masyarakat umum, ilustrasi dan alur cerita buku “3 Sahabat Hutan” terbukti mampu menarik perhatian anak serta memudahkan pemahaman terhadap pesan moral yang disampaikan. Karakter hewan berbentuk kotak juga terbukti menstimulasi daya pikir kritis dan memperkuat daya ingat anak. Dengan demikian, buku ini tidak hanya berperan sebagai media kampanye CSR, tetapi juga sebagai alat bantu pembelajaran karakter yang efektif dan menyenangkan.
