Abstract
Pelletizer machine is a tool that produces wood dust or biomass into a cylindrical shape. In machine design, it is necessary to know the power and efficiency of the electric motor as the main driver so that it can optimize the productivity of the production process. The purpose of this research is to analyze the power value and efficiency of electric motors. Research is carried out experimentally to find the power and efficiency of electric motors. Testing is carried out with no load conditions, with a load of 500g, and with a load of 1000g. Test results show that the power of the electric motor increases as the material load increases, from 393,61 W input and 301,85 W output without load, to 809,42 W input and 787,62 W output at full load of 1000 grams. Motor efficiency also increased significantly, from 76.70% without load to 97.00% at full load. This finding proves that the electric motor works optimally and efficiently at material loads close to its maximum capacity. Keywords: Motor Power, Efficiency, Electric Motor, Pelletizer Machine Mesin pelletizer merupakan suatu alat yang memproduksi serbuk kayu atau biomassa menjadi bentuk silinder. Dalam perancangan mesin perlu diketahui daya dan efisiensi motor listrik sebagai penggerak utama sehingga dapat mengoptimalkan produktivitas proses produksi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis nilai daya dan efisiensi motor listrik. Penelitian dilakukan secara eksperimen untuk menemukan daya dan efisiensi motor listrik. Pengujian dilakukan dengan kondisi tanpa beban, dengan beban 500g, dan dengan beban 1000g. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa daya motor listrik meningkat seiring bertambahnya beban material, dari 393,61 W input dan 301,85 W output tanpa beban, menjadi 809,42 W input dan 787,62 W output pada beban penuh 1000 gram. Efisiensi motor juga meningkat signifikan, dari 76,70% tanpa beban menjadi 97,00% pada beban penuh. Temuan ini membuktikan bahwa motor listrik bekerja optimal dan efisien pada beban material mendekati kapasitas maksimumnya. Kata Kunci: Daya motor, Efisiensi, Motor Listrik, Mesin Pelletizer.
