Abstract
The BSD area has experienced rapid population growth and has developed into a center of housing, education, offices, and transportation. This dynamic has created the need for public facilities that can accommodate sports activities while supporting a healthy urban lifestyle. The design of a Type A sports hall in the BSD intermodal area is presented as a solution to this need, serving a dual function as a venue for national and international sports competitions, a recreational space for the surrounding community, and a representation of the new lifestyle of urban society. A futuristic architectural approach is applied to create a visionary, dynamic, and adaptive building that responds to contemporary developments. Futuristic principles are expressed through an organic and expressive building mass, the use of innovative materials and lighting technologies, as well as the application of environmentally friendly systems that support sustainability. The design method involves literature studies, analysis of Type A sports hall standards, site observation, and the exploration of futuristic architectural concepts. The final design presents a sports hall with Type A standard seating capacity, multifunctional training spaces, commercial areas, medical facilities, and a public plaza as an interaction space. This sports hall is expected not only to serve as a sports facility but also as a center for active lifestyles, a recreational hub for the community, and a futuristic landmark that strengthens the identity of the BSD intermodal area as a modern city of the future. Kawasan BSD mengalami pertumbuhan penduduk yang pesat dan berkembang sebagai pusat hunian, pendidikan, perkantoran, serta transportasi. Dinamika tersebut memunculkan kebutuhan fasilitas publik yang mampu mewadahi aktivitas olahraga sekaligus mendukung gaya hidup sehat masyarakat urban. Perancangan gelanggang olahraga tipe A di kawasan intermoda BSD hadir sebagai solusi terhadap kebutuhan tersebut, dengan fungsi ganda sebagai sarana kompetisi olahraga berskala nasional dan internasional, ruang rekreasi masyarakat sekitar, serta representasi dari gaya hidup baru masyarakat perkotaan. Pendekatan arsitektur futuristik diterapkan untuk menghadirkan bangunan yang visioner, dinamis, dan adaptif terhadap perkembangan zaman. Prinsip-prinsip futuristik diwujudkan melalui bentuk massa organik yang ekspresif, pemanfaatan teknologi pencahayaan dan material inovatif, serta penerapan sistem ramah lingkungan yang mendukung keberlanjutan. Metode perancangan dilakukan melalui studi literatur, analisis standar gelanggang olahraga tipe A, observasi kawasan, serta eksplorasi konsep futuristik dalam arsitektur. Hasil perancangan menghadirkan gelanggang olahraga dengan kapasitas tribun sesuai standar tipe A, ruang latihan multifungsi, area komersial, ruang kesehatan, dan plaza publik sebagai ruang interaksi. Kehadiran gelanggang olahraga ini diharapkan tidak hanya sebagai fasilitas olahraga semata, tetapi juga sebagai pusat gaya hidup aktif, ruang rekreasi masyarakat, serta landmark futuristik yang memperkuat identitas kawasan intermoda BSD sebagai kota modern masa depan.
