Abstract

The E-CANTEEN application was developed with the aim of simplifying food consumption processes, such as scanning lecturers’ lunch using a QR CODE, as well as facilitating food requests for specific events by unit staff at Universitas Mercu Buana. The E-CANTEEN application is designed to make things easier for all its users. From the perspective of canteen staff, the application is expected to increase efficiency, accuracy, and precision in generating periodic reports. For unit staff, the E-CANTEEN application greatly simplifies the process of submitting food requests, which previously required them to walk and physically submit food request reports for events to canteen staff — a time-consuming and inefficient task. For lecturers, the E-CANTEEN application helps reduce queueing time, which previously was an issue due to frequent QR CODE scanning errors. With ECANTEEN, these problems are resolved and scanning errors are minimized. Therefore, the E-CANTEEN application strongly supports Universitas Mercu Buana’s vision of promoting digitalization within the campus environment. Aplikasi E-CANTEEN dibuat dengan tujuan mempermudah dalam hal konsumsi, seperti halnya scan makan siang dosen dengan menggunakan QR CODE, serta untuk pengajuan makanan pada saat acara tertentu untuk staff per unit di Universitas Mercu Buana. Aplikasi E-CANTEEN dirancang untuk mempermudah seluruh penggunanya, dalam pandangan pegawai kantin berharap aplikasi ECANTEEN meningkatkan efisiensi, ketepatan dan keakuratan dalam pembuatan laporan setiap periodenya. Untuk staff unit aplikasi E-CANTEEN sangat mempermudah dalam pengajuan makanan, yang pada sebelum ada aplikasi ECANTEEN para staff unit harus berjalan kaki melampirkan laporan pengajuan makanan untuk acara ke pegawai kantin, hal itu sangat merepotkan staff unit dan sangat tidak efisien di waktu. Untuk staff dosen aplikasi E-CANTEEN sangat membantu dalam hal mempersingkat waktu antrian, hal ini dibuktikan pada sebelumnya untuk scan QR CODE seringkali mengalami error, dengan adanya ECANTEEN masalah ini dapat teratasi dan meminimkan error scan. Dengan demikian aplikasi E-CANTEEN sangat mendukung visi Universita Mercua Buana utnuk mendorong digitalisasi di lingkungan kampus. Kata kunci: E-CANTEEN, Efisien, QR CODE, Pengajuan.
