Abstract
Waste management in Meruya Selatan Sub-district, West Jakarta, is still conducted manually and on a community-based initiative, without a structured digital system. This has resulted in a lack of data transparency as well as uncoordinated reporting and evaluation processes. The aim of this research is to design and develop a mobile-friendly, web-based application for the Waste Bank Unit (BSU). The application is designed to improve the effectiveness of waste management, enhance data transparency, and simplify the reporting and evaluation processes within the sub-district. The application development follows the Feature Driven Development (FDD) methodology, which consists of five stages: developing an overall model, creating a feature list, planning by feature, designing by feature, and building by feature. The results of the development show that the application is capable of recording transactions, managing user balances, generating monthly reports, and monitoring waste bank activities digitally and in real-time. In conclusion, the application can serve as an effective solution to support a structured, transparent, and integrated waste management system at the local level. Pengelolaan sampah di Kelurahan Meruya Selatan, Jakarta Barat, masih bersifat manual dan swadaya, tanpa sistem digital yang terstruktur. Hal ini menyebabkan kurangnya transparansi data serta pelaporan dan evaluasi yang tidak terkoordinasi dengan baik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk melakukan perancangan dan pengembangan aplikasi Bank Sampah Unit (BSU) berbasis website yang ramah perangkat mobile. Aplikasi ini dirancang untuk meningkatkan efektivitas pengelolaan sampah, transparansi data, serta mempermudah proses pelaporan dan evaluasi kegiatan pengelolaan sampah di lingkungan kelurahan. Dalam pengembangan aplikasi menggunakan metode Feature Driven Development (FDD), yang terdiri dari lima tahap: pengembangan model keseluruhan, penyusunan daftar fitur, perencanaan berdasarkan fitur, perancangan fitur, dan pembangunan fitur. Hasil pengembangan menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi mampu mencatat transaksi, mengelola saldo nasabah, menghasilkan laporan bulanan, serta memantau aktivitas bank sampah secara digital dan real-time. Kesimpulannya, aplikasi ini dapat menjadi solusi efektif dalam mendukung sistem pengelolaan sampah yang terstruktur, transparan, dan terintegrasi di tingkat lokal.
