Abstract
The agricultural sector contributes significantly to food availability and promotes national food security, as well as contributing to economic and social balance, especially in rural areas. In 2023, this sector recorded positive growth. However, the value of companies in this sector declined. This study aims to determine the influence of liquidity, activity, profitability, and company size on company value. The research design is a causal study. The population in this study consists of agricultural companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2019 to 2023, with a total of 23 companies meeting the specified characteristics. The sample selection used a purposive sampling method, resulting in 11 companies. Panel data regression analysis was used as the data analysis method in this study. This study shows that the liquidity variable does not affect firm value, the activity variable has a positive effect on firm value, the profitability variable does not affect firm value, and the firm size variable does not affect firm value. Sektor pertanian memiliki kontribusi besar ketersediaan bahan pangan serta mendorong ketahanan pangan nasional, serta berkontribusi dalam menjaga keseimbangan ekonomi dan sosial, terutama di daerah pedesaan. Pada tahun 2023, sektor ini mencatat pertumbuhan yang positif. Namun, nilai perusahaan di sektor ini mengalami penurunan. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk menentukan pengaruh likuiditas, aktivitas, profitabilitas, dan ukuran perusahaan terhadap nilai perusahaan. Desain penelitian ini adalah studi kausal. Populasi dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari perusahaan pertanian yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia dari tahun 2019-2023, dengan total 23 perusahaan sesuai dengan karakteristik yang ditetapkan. Pemilihan sampel menggunakan metode sampling jenuh, menghasilkan 11 perusahaan. Analisis regresi data panel digunakan sebagai metode analisis data dalam penelitian ini. Penelitian ini menunjukkan hasil bahwa variabel likuiditas tidak mempengaruhi nilai perusahaan, variabel aktivitas memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap nilai perusahaan, variabel profitabilitas tidak mempengaruhi nilai perusahaan, dan variabel ukuran perusahaan tidak mempengaruhi nilai perusahaan.
