Abstract
This research aims to examine the influence of self-confidence on student creativity in the Special Region of Jakarta. This research uses a correlational quantitative approach. The sample in this study was 191 active students studying in the Special Region of Jakarta. The data collection methods used in this research are the SelfConfidence scale and the Creativity scale. The results of the Simple Linear Regression Test show that the R Square value is 0.631. This means that the SelfConfidence variable is able to explain and predict the value of the Creativity variable by 63.1%, the remaining 36.9% is explained by other factors and the significance value is 0.000 < 0.05. So it can be concluded that there is a significant influence between the Self-Confidence variable and the Creativity variable among students in the Special Region of Jakarta. Keywords : Self-confidence, Creativity, Students. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh kepercayaan diri terhadap kreativitas mahasiswa/i di Daerah Khusus Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif korelasional. Sampel pada penelitian ini sebanyak 191 mahasiswa aktif yang kuliah di Daerah Khusus Jakarta. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu skala Kepercayaan Diri dan skala Kreativitas. Hasil Uji Regresi Linear Sederhana menunjukkan hasil nilai R Square mendapatkan 0.631. Artinya variabel Kepercayaan Diri mampu menerangkan dan memprediksi nilai variabel Kreativitas sebesar 63,1% sisanya sebesar 36,9% diterangkan oleh faktor-faktor lain dan nilai signifikasi sebesar 0.000 < 0.05. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara variabel Kepercayaan Diri terhadap variabel Kreativitas pada mahasiswa di Daerah Khusus Jakarta.
