Abstract

Infrastructure development, especially toll roads, is an important aspect in supporting the progress of a country. In planning construction projects, effective and efficient methods are needed to ensure quality and cost efficiency. One method that has begun to be implemented is Building Information Modeling (BIM), which is part of the application of information and communication technology in the construction sector. The Directorate General of Highways has required the use of BIM in technical planning, construction, and road maintenance as a step towards PUPR 4.0. In addition, in the implementation in the field, there were still calculation errors in the quantity surveying process which resulted in losses of construction materials and a lack of understanding of 5D BIM modeling. This study uses two methods, a qualitative approach is carried out through semistructured interviews with experts, in order to obtain in-depth information related to the problem. While the quantitative approach is carried out through calculation analysis with Autodesk Revit software as a 5D BIM modeling tool and conventional methods to determine the comparison of the calculation results. The results of the study show that the estimated cost of the STA 19+591 Overpass structure work using the BIM method is IDR 31,820,946,088. Meanwhile, the estimate with the conventional method is Rp. 31,902,077,681. The comparison between the two methods shows that the BIM 5D method produces a cost estimate that is 0.25% lower than the conventional method. The 3D model created allows for a more detailed and accurate representation of the structure's geometry, including elements with complex shapes. In addition, BIM 5D also allows for direct synchronization between the design model and actual conditions in the field. This indicates that the use of BIM in construction projects can improve cost efficiency and planning accuracy. Keywords: BIM, 5D, Autodesk Revit, Quantity Surveying, Bill of Quantities (BOQ) Pembangunan infrastruktur, khususnya jalan tol, merupakan aspek penting dalam mendukung kemajuan suatu negara. Dalam perencanaan proyek konstruksi, diperlukan metode yang efektif dan efisien untuk memastikan kualitas serta efisiensi biaya. Salah satu metode yang mulai diterapkan adalah Building Information Modelling (BIM), yang merupakan bagian dari penerapan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi dalam sektor konstruksi. Direktorat Jenderal Bina Marga telah mewajibkan penggunaan BIM dalam perencanaan teknis, konstruksi, dan pemeliharaan jalan sebagai langkah menuju PUPR 4.0. Selain itu pada pelaksanaan dilapangan masih ditemukan kesalahan perhitungan dalam proses quantity surveying yang mengakibatkan kerugian material konstruksi serta kurangnya pemahaman terhadap pemodelan BIM 5D. Penelitian ini menggunakan dua metode, pendekatan kualitatif dilakukan melalui wawancara semi-terstruktur dengan pakar, guna mendapatkan informasi yang mendalam terkait permasalahan. Sedangkan pendekatan kuantitatif dilakukan melalui analisis perhitungan dengan software Autodesk Revit sebagai alat bantu pemodelan BIM 5D serta metode konvensional guna mengetahui perbandingan hasil perhitungannya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa estimasi biaya pekerjaan struktur Overpass STA 19+591 pada dengan metode BIM sebesar Rp. 31.820.946.088. Sementara itu, estimasi dengan metode konvensional sebesar Rp. 31.902.077.681. Perbandingan antara kedua metode menunjukkan bahwa metode BIM 5D menghasilkan estimasi biaya 0,25% lebih rendah dibandingkan metode konvensional. Model 3D yang dibuat memungkinkan representasi geometri struktur yang lebih detail dan akurat, termasuk pada elemen-elemen dengan bentuk yang rumit. Selain itu, BIM 5D juga memungkinkan adanya sinkronisasi langsung antara model desain dan kondisi aktual di lapangan. Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa penggunaan BIM dalam proyek konstruksi dapat meningkatkan efisiensi biaya dan akurasi perencanaan. Kata Kunci : BIM, 5D, Autodek Revit, Quantity Surveying, RAB.
