Abstract

Masa dewasa awal adalah periode pencarian dan penyesuaian diri yang penuh dengan tantangan stress. Individu biasanya dianggap dewasa awal, antara usia 18-40 tahun. Pada usia ini, individu akan dituntut menjadi orang yang dewasa yang dimana seseorang akan mengalami banyak perubahan dalam dirinya baik secara kognitif, maupun psikologis-emosional. Ketika seseorang yang tidak dapat mengatasi perubahan yang terus-menerus, mereka mungkin mengalami keadaan Quarter Life Crisis dan emosi menjadi salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi dikarenakan setiap seseorang memiliki reaksi dalam menghadapi masa dewasa tentunya berbeda-beda. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah Quarter Life Crisis pada dewasa awal berhubungan dengan intensitas pengguna media sosial. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif korelasional dengan sampel sebanyak 122 responden. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif korelasional. Pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah non probability sampling dengan menggunakan teknik Accidental Sampling. Pada hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan terdapat hubungan antara intensitas penggunaan media sosial dengan Quarter Life Crisis pada individu dewasa awal. Early adulthood is a period of self-discovery and adjustment that is full of stressful challenges. Individuals are usually considered early adults, between the ages of 18- 40 years. At this age, individuals will be required to become adults where someone will experience many changes in themselves both cognitively and psychologicallyemotionally. When someone who cannot cope with continuous changes, they may experience a Quarter Life Crisis and emotions become one of the influencing faktors because each person has a different reaction in facing adulthood. The purpose of this study was to determine whether the Quarter Life Crisis in early adulthood is related to the intensity of sosial media users. The approach used in this study is quantitative correlation with a sampel of 122 respondents. The research method used is quantitative correlation. The sampling used in this study is non-probability sampling using the Accidental Sampling technique. The results of this study indicate that there is a relationship between the intensity of sosial media use and Quarter Life Crisis in early adult individuals.
