Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara fatherless dan penerimaan diri dengan resiliensi pada dewasa awal yang orang tuanya bercerai. Penelitian menggunakan teknik accidental sampling dengan data dari 183 partisipan laki-laki dan perempuan, berusia 20 hingga 30 tahun (SD = 2.94, M = 25.42). Data yang dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner online dengan item-item yang berasal dari tiga alat ukur atau skala yang telah diadaptasi dengan cara menerjemahkan item-item skala dari bahasa inggris ke dalam bahasa Indonesia. The Resilience Scale adaptasi 14 item dengan 2 dimensi dari Wagnild and Young (1993), The Father Presence Questionnaire (FPQ) (2 dimensi, 44 item) digunakan untuk mengukur fatherless dan penerimaan diri diukur dengan menggunakan 20 item Unconditional Self Acceptance Qustionnaire (USAQ) dari Camberlain dan Haaga (2001). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan 1) terdapat hubungan yang positif yang signifikan antara fatherless dan resiliensi, 2) terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara penerimaan diri dan resiliensi pada dewasa awal yang orang tuanya bercerai. Uji korelasi antar dimensi variabel fatherless dan penerimaan diri juga menunjukan korelasi secara signifikan dengan dimensi resiliensi. This study aims to examine the relationship between fatherlessness and self- acceptance with resilience in emerging adults whose parents are divorced. The research utilized an accidental sampling technique, collecting data from 183 male and female participants aged 20 to 30 years (SD = 2.94, M = 25.42). Data were gathered through an online questionnaire using items adapted from three measurement scales. The Resilience Scale (RS) was adapted into a 14-item version with two dimensions from Wagnild and Young (1993). The Father Presence Questionnaire (FPQ) (2 dimensions, 44 items) was used to measure fatherlessness, while self-acceptance was assessed using the 20-item Unconditional Self- Acceptance Questionnaire (USAQ) from Chamberlain and Haaga (2001). The results of this study indicate that (1) there is a significant positive relationship between fatherlessness and resilience, and (2) there is a significant positive relationship between self-acceptance and resilience in emerging adults with divorced parents. Correlation tests between the dimensions of fatherlessness and self-acceptance also showed significant correlations with the dimensions of resilience.
