Abstract
In the era of global competition, many companies ground handling services which offer airport services at competitive prices. To maintain market existence, competent human resources (HR) are needed through improving employee performance. This research examines the influence of training, motivation and work discipline on the performance of employees of PT Jasa Angkasa Semesta Tbk, Station HLP. This quantitative research uses a causality study approach involving 41 permanent employees as respondents. The data obtained was analyzed using the method Structural Equation Model (SEM) with analytical tools SmartPLS. The research results show that training has a positive and significant effect on employee performance (β = 0.389, t = 3.536, p < 0.05). Work motivation also has a positive and significant influence (β = 0.331, t = 2.292, p < 0.05). Apart from that, work discipline is the factor that has the greatest influence on employee performance (β = 0.520, t = 3.838, p < 0.05). This research contributes to the literature by integrating these three factors simultaneously in the ground handling services industry, addressing research gaps in previous research. These findings confirm that training, motivation and work discipline significantly improve employee performance in the airport services sector. Di era persaingan global, banyak perusahaan ground handling services yang menawarkan layanan kebandarudaraan dengan harga kompetitif. Untuk mempertahankan eksistensi pasarnya, diperlukan sumber daya manusia (SDM) yang kompeten melalui peningkatan kinerja karyawan. Penelitian ini menguji pengaruh pelatihan, motivasi, dan disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan PT Jasa Angkasa Semesta Tbk, Station HLP. Penelitian kuantitatif ini menggunakan pendekatan studi kausalitas dengan melibatkan 41 karyawan tetap sebagai responden. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan metode Structural Equation Model (SEM) dengan alat analisis SmartPLS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan (β = 0.389, t = 3.536, p < 0.05). Motivasi kerja juga mempunyai pengaruh positif dan signifikan (β = 0.331, t = 2.292, p < 0.05). Selain itu, disiplin kerja menjadi faktor yang paling besar mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan (β = 0.520, t = 3.838, p < 0.05). Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada literatur dengan mengintegrasikan ketiga faktor ini secara bersamaan dalam industri jasa ground handling, mengatasi kesenjangan penelitian dalam penelitian sebelumnya. Temuan tersebut menegaskan bahwa pelatihan, motivasi, dan disiplin kerja secara signifikan meningkatkan kinerja pegawai di sektor jasa bandara.
