Abstract
The purpose of this study was to analyze the effects of institutional ownership, financial indicators and company size on financial distress proxied by Altman Z-score. The object of this research is the Sector Agriculture listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2016-2019. This research was conducted using a sample of 13 selected companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Determination of the sample using purposive sampling method with criteria determined by the researcher using a causal relationship design. Therefore, the data analysis used is statistical analysis in the form of logistic regression tests. The results of this study show that the variables of institutional ownership, leverage and profitability have a significant effect on financial distress. While the Sales Growth variable and company size have no effect on financial distress. Keywords: Institusional Ownership, Financial Indicators (Leverage, Profitability, Sales Growth), Company Size, and Financial Distress Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh kepemilikan institusional, indikator keuangan dan ukuran perusahaan terhadap financial distress yang diproksikan dengan Altman Z-score. Objek penelitian ini adalah Sektor Agriculture yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia tahun 2016-2019. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan sampel 13 perusahaan terpilih yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Penentuan sampel menggunakan metode purposive sampling dengan kriteria yang ditentukan peneliti dengan menggunakan desain hubungan kausal. Oleh karena itu analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis statistik berupa uji regresi logistik. Hasil penelitian ini diketahui bahwa variabel kepemilikan institusional, Leverage dan Profitabilitas berpengaruh signifikan terhadap financial distress. Sedangkan variabel Sales Growth dan Ukuran Perusahaan tidak berpengaruh terhadap financial distress.
