Abstract

Penggunaan media sosial Tik-Tok memudahkan generasi Z dalam mencari informasi mengenai gejala-gejala gangguan mental, namun hal ini juga dapat memicu terjadinya self-diagnosis. literasi kesehatan mental merupakan salah satu faktor penting untuk memahami dan menelaan informasi mengenai kesehatan mental. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh literasi kesehatan mental terhadap self-diagnosis pada generasi Z pengguna Tik-Tok. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian kuantitatif analisis deskriptif. Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalalh Self-I (Self-Identification of Having a Mental Illness) oleh Schomerus (2019) dan Mental health literacy oleh Jung (2016). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat pengaruh literasi kesehatan mental terhadap self-diagnosis pada generasi Z pengguna Tik-Tok. The use of Tik-Tok social media makes it easier for generation Z to find information about the symptoms of mental disorders, but this can also trigger self- diagnosis. mental health literacy is one of the important factors to understand and retrieve information about mental health. This study aims to determine the effect of mental health literacy on self-diagnosis in generation Z Tik-Tok users. This research method uses descriptive analysis quantitative research design. The measuring instruments used in this study are Self-I (Self-Identification of Having a Mental Illness) by Schomerus (2019) and Mental health literacy by Jung (2016). The results showed that there was no effect of mental health literacy on self-diagnosis in generation Z Tik- Tok users.
