Abstract

In the period 2019-2023, there was an oil leak in the ATR-72 turboprop engine on Wings Air. The oil leak originated from the engine connection with the electrical component, namely the ACW generator, which is suspected of occurring due to an imbalance in the ACW generator rotor. Leakage of lubricating oil in turboprop aircraft engines can occur due to several reasons such as rotor imbalance, as well as the influence of the topography of the shaft surface and seal lips caused by vibration. In this study, oil leaks will be investigated at the ACW Generator engine and shaft connections, analyzing the effect of ACW Generator rotor imbalance on vibrations that affect changes in seal shape. Testing and simulations will be carried out on the effect of ACW generator rotor imbalance using literature study methods, experimental methods and Solidwork simulations. The results of the imbalance test values on 4 ACW generators showed that the total imbalance value on each test object was 36.03 gmm (2.132%), 28.97 gmm (1.714%), 6.67 gmm (395%), 25.65 gmm (1.518%) exceeding the maximum threshold limit permitted by the repair guide that allows vibration to occur. The vibration on this rotor had a significant difference with a difference higher than the maximum limit, there was a difference in components AC3543, AC3587 and AC3958 due to the load value at the angle of the test results being unbalanced, the average vibration frequency on the three components was F1 12.61 Hz, F2 13.129 Hz, F3 63.047 Hz and F4 65.286 Hz. Pada periode tahun 2019-2023 terjadi kebocoran oli engine turboprop pesawat ATR-72 pada maskapai Wings Air. Kebocoran oli yang berasal dari sambungan engine dengan komponen kelistrikan yaitu ACW generator yang dicurigai terjadi karena ketidakseimbangan pada rotor ACW generator. Kebocoran oli pelumas pada engine pesawat turboprop dapat terjadi karena beberapa sebab seperti ketidakseimbangan rotor, serta pengaruh topografi permukaan poros dan bibir seal yang diakibatkan oleh getaran. Dalam penelitian ini akan diinvestigasi kebocoran oli pada sambungan engine dan shaft ACW Generator, menganalisis pengaruh ketidakseimbangan rotor ACW Generator terhadap getaran yang mempengaruhi perubahan bentuk seal. Akan dilakukan pengujian dan simulasi terhadap pengaruh ketidakseimbangan rotor generator ACW dengan metode studi literatur, metode experimental dan simulasi Solidwork. Hasil nilai pengujian ketidakseimbangan pada 4 ACW generator menunjukkan nilai total Unbalanced pada masing-masing benda uji adalah sebesar 36,03 gmm (2.132%), 28,97 gmm (1.714%), 6,67 gmm (395%), 25,65 gmm (1.518%) melebihi batas maksimal ambang batas yang diijinkan oleh panduan perbaikan yang memungkinkan terjadinya getaran. Getaran pada rotor ini terjadi perbedaan yang cukup signifikan dengan selisih lebih tinggi dari batas maksimum, terjadi perbedaan pada komponen AC3543, AC3587 dan AC3958 dikarenakan nilai beban pada sudut hasil uji tidak seimbang, rata-rata frekuensi vibrasi pada ketiga komponen tersebut adalah F1 12,61 Hz, F2 13,129 Hz, F3 63,047 Hz dan F4 65,286 Hz. Sehingga menyebabkan seal mengalami deformasi dan terkikis. Kata kunci: Turboprop, Rotor, Unbalanced, Vibrasi, Kebocoran Oli, Solidwork.
