Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan tingkat Body image antara sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan Chatbot AI Mental Health. Bruchon-Scheitzer (2002) mendefiniskan Body image sebagai perasaan, persepsi, dan sikap dari individu akan tubuhnya sendiri. Hal ini mencakup bagaimana cara indiviu memandang bentuk, ukuran, dan ciri-ciri tubuhnya, baik secara positif maupun negatif, serta bagaimana perasaannya terhadap tubuh tersebut. Responden pada penelitian ini adalah siswa/I kelas 12 SMA X Jakarta dengan total 64 responden yang terdiri dari 32 responden kelompok kontrol dan 32 responden kelompok eksperimen. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain quasi eksperimental (kuasi eksperimen). Hasil analisis membuktikan terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara Body image responden antara sebelum dan sesudah diberikan intervensi penggunaan Chatbot AI Mental Health (Schoolmentalhealth.id) yakni terdapat pengingkatan Body image. Kelompok eksperimen menunjukkan peningkatan yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelompok kontrol. Pemberian perlakuan intervensi berupa penggunan Chatbot AI Mental Health dalam waktu 2 minggu memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan, intervensi ini memberikan ruang bagi individu untuk mengevaluasi ulang makna tubuh mereka secara lebih positif. This study aims to determine the differences in Body image levels before and after using AI Mental Health Chatbot. Bruchon-Scheitzer (2002) defines Body image as an individual's feelings, perceptions, and attitudes towards their own body. This includes how individuals view the shape, size, and characteristics of their body, both positively and negatively, and how they feel about their body. The respondents in this study were grade XII students of SMA X Jakarta with a total of 64 respondents consisting of 32 respondents in the control group and 32 respondents in the experimental group. The design of this study used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design. The results of the analysis proved that there was a significant difference between the Body image of respondents before and after being given an intervention using AI Mental Health Chatbot (Schoolmentalhealth.id), namely an increase in Body image. The experimental group showed a higher increase than the control group. Providing intervention treatment in the form of using AI Mental Health Chatbot for 2 weeks had a significant effect, this intervention provided space for individuals to re-evaluate the meaning of their bodies in a more positive way.
