Abstract

MVC architecture (model, view, controller) is a concept to encapsulate the data along with processing (models), isolated from the process of manipulation (controller), and display (view) to represented on the user interface[1]. This approach to the MVC architecture will be implemented in the design of e-learning website, because of the many benefits that can be taken, one of which is the separation of model and view allows multiple views to use the same model. In effect, the component model of an application, or in this case the e-learning website is easier to be applied, tested and maintained. Keywords: MVC architecture (model, view, controller), E-learning Website Arsitektur MVC (model, view, Controller) merupakan konsep untuk meng-enkapsulasi data bersama dengan pemrosesan (model), mengisolasi dari proses manipulasi (controller), dan tampilan (view) untuk direpresentasikan pada user interface[1]. Pendekatan terhadap arsitektur MVC ini akan diimplemantasikan dalam perancangan website e-learning, karena banyak manfaat yang bisa diambil, salah satunya pemisahan model dan view memungkinkan beberapa view menggunakan model yang sama. Dampaknya, komponen model sebuah aplikasi atau dalam hal ini website e-learning lebih mudah untuk diterapkan, diuji dan dipelihara.
