Abstract
The Side Stand product is a motorcycle component that requires Zinc Alkaline Rainbow plating as a raw material in its production process. This study aims to plan the Master Production Schedule (MPS) and the raw material requirements for Zinc Alkaline Rainbow in the Side Stand product at PT. Eudonia Nasional Indonesia, an electroplating service provider, using MPS, Rough Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP), and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) methods. The variables studied include the production scheduling plan and the raw material requirements for the Side Stand product, which relies on Zinc Alkaline Rainbow plating. The data used consists of the demand for Zinc Alkaline Rainbow raw materials in the Side Stand production process. Data analysis is conducted using the MPS method to plan the production schedule, RCCP to evaluate machine capacity, and MRP to determine raw material requirements. The results indicate that production delays in the Side Stand product are influenced by insufficient machine capacity and shortages of Zinc Alkaline Rainbow raw materials. The implementation of MPS and RCCP helps in planning a more efficient production schedule by considering machine capacity constraints. The MRP method results in cost savings of Rp 1,889,820 in raw material control, down from the previous Rp 4,270,720. This study identifies that better planning through MPS, RCCP, and MRP can reduce delays and improve production efficiency for the Side Stand product. Keywords: MPS, RCCP, MRP, Planning, Inventory Produk Side Stand adalah komponen kendaraan bermotor yang membutuhkan bahan baku plating Zinc Alkaline Rainbow dalam proses produksinya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merencanakan Master Production Schedule (MPS) dan kebutuhan bahan baku Zinc Alkaline Rainbow pada produk Side Stand di PT. Eudonia Nasional Indonesia yang menyediakan jasa elektroplating, menggunakan metode MPS, RCCP (Rough Cut Capacity Planning), dan MRP (Material Requirements Planning). Variabel yang diteliti meliputi perencanaan jadwal produksi dan kebutuhan bahan baku produk Side Stand, yang membutuhkan bahan baku plating Zinc Alkaline Rainbow. Data yang digunakan yaitu data permintaan bahan baku Zinc Alkaline Rainbow yang digunakan dalam proses produksi Side Stand. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan metode MPS untuk merencanakan jadwal produksi, RCCP untuk mengevaluasi kapasitas mesin, dan MRP untuk merencanakan kebutuhan bahan baku. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterlambatan dalam produksi Side Stand dipengaruhi oleh ketidakcukupan kapasitas mesin dan bahan baku Zinc Alkaline Rainbow. Penerapan metode MPS dan RCCP membantu merencanakan jadwal produksi yang lebih efisien dengan mempertimbangkan kapasitas mesin yang terbatas. Metode MRP menghasilkan penghematan biaya pengendalian bahan baku sebesar Rp 1.889.820, dari sebelumnya Rp 4.270.720. Penelitian ini mengidentifikasi bahwa perencanaan yang lebih baik melalui MPS, RCCP, dan MRP dapat mengurangi keterlambatan dan meningkatkan efisiensi produksi pada produk Side Stand.
