Abstract

The reliability of the electricity distribution network system describes the frequency of outages, the duration of the outages, and the time required to restore the system to normal conditions. Reliability indices frequently used in distribution systems include SAIFI, SAIDI, CAIDI, ASAI, and ASUI. This research was conducted at the KTT MNA Feeder, a medium voltage distribution network with a Grid network configuration. This research aims to analyze network stability in N-1 contingency conditions based on SPLN and IEEE standards, as well as evaluating the performance of the reliability index. The research was carried out using the method of collecting data in the field and then processing it, the results of the data obtained were simulated using ETAP software to see the condition and quality of the network in the N-1 contingency condition, the data obtained was then analyzed. The analysis results show that the SAIFI reliability index value is 3 times/customer/year on the MNA KTT Feeder network which meets the SPLN 68-2: 1986 standard, but does not yet meet the IEEE Std 1366™-2003 standard. The SAIDI value of 13.4444 hours/customer/year also meets the SPLN 68-2: 1986 standard, but does not meet the IEEE Std 1366™-2003 standard. Meanwhile, the CAIDI value of 20.33 indicates that the network does not comply with the IEEE Std 1366™-2003 standard, because the index obtained exceeds the IEEE Std 1366™-2003 standard. Meanwhile, the ASAI value shows good network performance, because the network's ability to supply electrical energy for the JanuarySeptember 2024 period reached more than 98.61%. The ASUI value also shows good performance, because the network's inability to supply electrical energy is only 1.38%. The results of the effectiveness of the backup system network with N-1 contingency using three N-1 contingency system failure scenarios on the network, resulted in an average voltage drop of 2.5% on the medium voltage side and 3.7% on the low voltage side. Then the average power loss is 0.2%. Referring to SPLN No.56- 1:1993 and SPLN 1:1978, the maximum voltage drop is 5% and the permitted power loss is a maximum of 2%. So it can be concluded that the reliability system for the medium voltage distribution network using a grid configuration with consideration of the N-1 contingency can be said to be reliable, because it meets the standards that have been set. Keywords : Contingency N-1 Networks, Reliability Index, Grid Networks, ETAP Keandalan sistem jaringan distribusi listrik menggambarkan frekuensi terjadinya pemadaman, durasi pemadaman, serta waktu yang dibutuhkan untuk memulihkan sistem ke kondisi normal. Indeks keandalan yang sering digunakan dalam sistem distribusi mencakup SAIFI, SAIDI, CAIDI, ASAI, dan ASUI. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada Penyulang KTT MNA, sebuah jaringan distribusi tegangan menengah dengan konfigurasi jaringan Grid, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis stabilitas jaringan pada kondisi kontingensi N-1 berdasarkan standar SPLN dan IEEE, serta mengevaluasi kinerja indeks keandalan. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode pengumpulan data dilapangan dan kemudian diolah, hasil data yang didapat disimulasikan menggunakan software ETAP untuk melihat kondisi dan kualitas jaringan dalam kondisi kontingensi N-1, data yang didapat kemudian dianalisa. Hasil analisis menunjukkan indeks keandalan nilai SAIFI yaitu 3 kali/pelanggan/tahun pada jaringan Penyulang KTT MNA telah memenuhi standar SPLN 68-2: 1986, tetapi belum memenuhi standar IEEE Std 1366™-2003. Nilai SAIDI yaitu 13.4444 jam/pelanggan/tahun juga telah memenuhi standar SPLN 68-2: 1986, namun tidak memenuhi standar IEEE Std 1366™-2003. Sedangkan, nilai CAIDI yaitu 20.33 menunjukkan jaringan belum sesuai dengan standar IEEE Std 1366™-2003, karena indeks yang didapat melebihi standard IEEE Std 1366™-2003. Sementara itu, nilai ASAI menunjukkan kinerja jaringan baik, karena kemampuan jaringan untuk menyuplai energi listrik periode Januari-September 2024 mencapai lebih dari 98,61%. Nilai ASUI juga menunjukkan performa baik, karena ketidakmampuan jaringan dalam suplai energi listrik hanya 1,38%. Hasil keefektifan jaringan sistem backup dengan kontingensi N-1 dengan menggunakan tiga skenario system failure kontingensi N-1 pada jaringan, didapatkan hasil drop tegangan rata-rata 2,5% pada sisi medium voltage dan 3,7% pada sisi low voltage. Kemudian susut daya rata-rata sebesar 0,2%. Merujuk pada SPLN No.56-1:1993 dan SPLN 1:1978 drop tegangan max 5% dan susut daya yang diizin kan adalah maximal 2%. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa system keandalan jaringan distribusi tegangan menengah menggunakan konfigurasi Grid dengan pertimbangan kontingensi N-1 dapat dikatakan handal, karena memenuhi standard yang telah ditetapkan.
