Abstract
This study examines the influence of academic self-efficacy and academic resilience on academic stress in final year students working on their thesis at the Faculty of Psychology, Mercu Buana University. The urgency of the study is because there are factors that can increase or decrease students' academic stress, one of which is the aspect of self-efficacy or belief in the ability to complete tasks, as well as resilience or the ability both mentally and physically to overcome problems. This study uses Pearson correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis tests. The research instruments used were The Academic Self-Efficacy Scale (TASES), The Academic Resilience Scale (ARS-30), and Student-Life Stress Inventory which were distributed through questionnaires to 105 research samples. The sample criteria were final year students working on their thesis at the Faculty of Psychology, Mercu Buana University. The research findings state that there is a significant influence between academic self-efficacy on academic stress, there is a significant influence between academic resilience on academic stress and there is a significant influence of academic self-efficacy and academic resilience simultaneously on academic stress in final year students. success. Penelitian ini mengkaji adanya pengaruh antara efikasi diri akademik dan resiliensi akademik terhadap stres akademik pada mahasiswa akhir yang mengerjakan skripsi di Fakultas Psikologi Universitas Mercu Buana. Urgensi penelitian sebab terdapat faktor-faktor yang mampu meningkatkan maupun menurunkan stres akademik mahasiswa, salah satunya aspek efikasi diri atau keyakinan dalam kemampuan menyelesaikan tugas-tugas, serta resiliensi atau kemampuan baik secara mental maupun fisik untuk mengatasi permasalahan. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis korelasi pearson dan uji analisis regresi berganda. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan ialah skala The Academic Self-Efficacy Scale (TASES), The Academic Resilience Scale (ARS-30), dan Student-Life Stress Inventory yang disebarkan melalui kuesioner terhadap 105 sampel penelitian. Kriteria sampel ialah mahasiswa akhir yang mengerjakan skripsi di Fakultas Psikologi Universitas Mercu Buana. Temuan penelitian menyatakan bahwa terdapat pengaruh signifikan antara efikasi diri akademik terhadap stres akademik, terdapat pengaruh signifikan antara resiliensi akademik terhadap stress akademik dan terdapat pengaruh signifikan efikasi diri akademik dan resiliensi akademik secara simultan terhadap stres akademik pada mahasiswa tingkat akhir.
