Abstract
This project aims to develop a web-based E-Canteen system at Universitas Mercu Buana, utilizing Node.js for back-end implementation. The system is designed to address inefficiencies and data errors caused by the manual management of the canteen. Employing the Waterfall method, the application includes features such as pre-order management, QR Code scanning, and automated transaction data recording. Testing results demonstrate that the system significantly improves operational efficiency and service quality in the canteen, supporting the university's vision of digitizing campus services. Proyek ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sistem E-Canteen berbasis web di Universitas Mercu Buana, menggunakan Node.js untuk implementasi back-end. Sistem ini dirancang untuk mengatasi masalah dalam pengelolaan kantin yang masih dilakukan secara manual, yang dapat menyebabkan ketidakefisienan dan kesalahan data. Dengan menggunakan metode Waterfall, aplikasi ini mencakup berbagai fitur seperti manajemen pre-order, pemindaian QR Code, dan rekap data transaksi secara otomatis. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem ini dapat meningkatkan efisiensi operasional dan kualitas layanan kantin secara signifikan, mendukung visi universitas dalam digitalisasi layanan kampus.
