Abstract

A stable network system is essential to support company operations. PT XYZ faces obstacles in monitoring network performance in real-time, which often results in slow handling of disruptions. To overcome this, this study aims to implement a network monitoring system using Zabbix, an open-source software designed to monitor various network devices, servers, and applications efficiently. The research process begins with an analysis of network needs at PT XYZ, followed by installation, configuration, and testing of the Zabbix system. Once implemented, this system is able to provide real-time information on network performance and automatic notifications when disruptions occur. As a result, response time to network problems becomes faster, downtime is reduced, and monitoring efficiency is increased. The results of this study are expected to help PT XYZ maintain the stability of their network and be a reference for other companies that want to implement similar solutions. Kata kunci: Zabbix, Network Monitoring, Network Eficiency. Sistem jaringan stabil sangat penting untuk mendukung operasional perusahaan. PT XYZ menghadapi kendala dalam memantau kinerja jaringan secara real-time, yang seringkali mengakibatkan lambatnya penanganan gangguan. Untuk mengatasi hal ini, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan sistem monitoring jaringan menggunakan Zabbix, sebuah perangkat lunak open-source yang dirancang untuk memantau berbagai perangkat jaringan, server, dan aplikasi secara efisien. Proses penelitian dimulai dengan analisis kebutuhan jaringan di PT XYZ, dilanjutkan dengan instalasi, konfigurasi, dan pengujian sistem Zabbix. Setelah diterapkan, sistem ini mampu memberikan informasi real-time mengenai kinerja jaringan dan notifikasi otomatis saat terjadi gangguan. Hasilnya, waktu respon terhadap masalah jaringan menjadi lebih cepat, downtime berkurang, dan efisiensi pemantauan. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat membantu PT XYZ menjaga stabilitas jaringan mereka dan menjadi referensi bagi perusahaan lain yang ingin mengimplementasikan solusi serupa.
