Abstract

Companies are required to produce quality products and have competitive prices. Therefore, inventory is an important factor that must be considered in producing a product. PT International Chemical Industry is a company engaged in the battery manufacturing industry. This company experienced excesses and shortages of raw materials for 4,109 products. These inventory problems caused batteries and raw materials to experience additional burdens, one of which was costs (waste). One way is to implement a raw material requirement planning system starting with forecasting and ending with lot sizing techniques so that overstock or under stock does not occur. In this research, to plan raw materials using the Moving Average, Linear Regression, and Exponential Smoothing methods. For the best forecasting method for R20H battery products in the coming period, namely the Linear Regression method, with forecasting accuracy values (MAD, MSE, and MAPE) the smallest are MAD 820,728.8, MAPE 20,009, MSE 102,918,900. The next stage is to carry out lot sizing using the Material Requirement Planning (MRP) method. From the forecasting results, a forecasting method with the smallest error value is obtained. Meanwhile, for raw material planning, MRP is used, namely POQ, EOQ and LFL. From the calculations of these three methods, the maximum value for raw material inventory costs is obtained, namely IDR 18,220,000. Keywords: Inventory, Forecasting, Material Requirement Planning, Lot Sizing Perusahaan dituntut menghasilkan produk yang berkualitas dan mempunyai harga yang kompetitif. Maka dari itu persediaan merupakan faktor penting yang harus di perhatikan dalam menghasilkan sebuah produk. PT International Chemical Industry merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang industri manufaktur baterai. Pada Perusahaan ini mengalami kelebihan dan kekurangan bahan baku sebanyak 4109 pcs produk, dari permasalahan persediaan tersebut membuat baterai dan bahan baku mengalami beban-beban tambahan salah satunya adalah beban biaya (pemborosan). Salah satu cara dengan melakukan sistem perencenaan kebutuhan bahan baku yang diawali dengan peramalan hingga teknik lot sizing agar tidak terjadi overstock maupun under stock. Dalam penelitian ini untuk merencanakan bahan baku mengunakan metode Moving Average, Regresi Linier, dan Eksponential Smoothing, Untuk metode peramalan terbaik pada produk baterai R20H pada periode yang akan datang, yaitu metode Regresi Linier, dengan nilai akurasi peramalan (MAD, MSE, dan MAPE) yang paling terkecil ialah MAD 820.728.8, MAPE 20.009, MSE 102.918.900. Tahap selanjutnya adalah melakukan lot sizing menggunakan metode Material Requirement Planning (MRP). Dari hasil peramalan didapatkanlah metode peramalan dengan nilai error terkecil. Sedangkan untuk perencanaan bahan baku menggunakan MRP yaitu POQ, EOQ, dan LFL. Dari ketiga perhitungan metode tersebut didapatkan nilai maksimun untuk biaya persediaan bahan baku, yaitu sebesar Rp 18.220.000.
