Abstract
Transportation plays an important role as a supporter of the country's economic development. The faster the economic development of a country, generally the higher the transportation facilities and flows needed. The smooth flow of transportation will be greatly influenced by adequate infrastructure, one of which is road conditions. Damage to the road can affect the flow of transportation so that it hampers the flow of transportation. One of the causes of road damage is the inadequate road conditions to accommodate the high daily traffic volume accompanied by the volume of heavy vehicles that pass. The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of vehicle volume on road damage that occurred on Jl. Serpong - Cisauk, Tangerang, Banten which is one of the main roads connecting areas to offices, factories and residential areas. This research was conducted using the Pavement Condition Index (PCI) method with observation and field survey measurement techniques. In addition, this study identifies the types of road damage and the current feasibility of Jl Sepong-Cisauk. The result of this study is that the highest heavy vehicle traffic volume occurred on Saturday, December 26, 2020 at 00.00 – 01.00 WIB with the number of vehicles being 257 smp/hour. The capacity of Jl, Raya Serpong – Cisauk, Tangerang, Banten which can be passed by heavy vehicles is 1805 smp/hour at 00.00 – 01.00 WIB. The highest degree of saturation is 0.11. The value of road damage that occurred in 50 research segments using the Pavement Condition Index (PCI) method was 49.18. The identified road damage was dominated by patch damage with 87.2% longitudinal cracks 9.3%, holes 1% and transverse cracks 0.9%. Based on this data, the Sepong-Cisauk road segment is classified as poor (Poor) and is included in the road reconstruction program. Keywords: Road damage, vehicle volume, Pavement Condition Index (PCI) Transportasi berperan penting sebagai salah satu penunjang perkembangan perekonomian negara. Semakin pesat perkembangan perekonomian suatu negara, umumnya akan semakin tinggi pula sarana dan alur transportasi yang dibutuhkan. Kelancaran alur transportasi akan sangat dipengaruhi oleh infrastruktur yang memadai, salah satunya ialah kondisi jalan. Kerusakan jalan dapat mempengaruhi alur transportasi sehingga menghambat alur transportasi. Salah satu penyebab kerusakan jalan ialah kondisi jalan yang tidak memadai untuk mengakomodasi tingginya angka lalu lintas harian disertai dengan volume kendaraan berat yang melintas. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui dampak volume kendaraan pada kerusakan jalan yang terjadi di Jl. Serpong - Cisauk, Tangerang, Banten yang merupakan salah satu jalan utama penghubung antar wilayah ke daerah perkantoran, pabrik dan pemukiman. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Pavement Condition Index (PCI) dengan teknik pengukuran observasi dan survey lapangan. Selain itu, penelitian ini mengidentifikasi jenis kerusakan jalan serta kelayakan Jl Sepong-Cisauk saat ini. Hasil dari penelitian ini ialahvolume lalu lintas kendaraan berat tertinggi terjadi pada Hari Sabtu, 26 Desember 2020 di pukul 00.00 – 01.00 WIB dengan jumlah kendaraan yaitu 257 smp/jam. Kapasitas Jl, Raya Serpong – Cisauk, Tangerang, Banten yang dapat dilewati kendaraan berat sebesar 1805smp/jam pada jam 00.00 – 01.00 WIB. Derajat kejenuhan teritinggi 0.11. Nilai kerusakan jalan yang terjadi pada 50 segmen penelitian dengan metode Pavement Condition Index (PCI) adalah 49.18. Kerusakan jalan yang terindenfikasi didominasi oleh kerusakan tambalan sebanyak 87.2% retak memanjang sebanyak 9.3%, lubang sebanyak 1% dan retak melintang 0.9%. Berdasarkan data tersebut, maka ruas jalan Sepong-Cisauk termasukdalam kualifikasi buruk (Poor) serta termasuk dalam program jalan rekontruksi ulang.
