Abstract
This study aims to evaluate the utilization of granite waste (LG) as a coarse aggregate substitution and corn cob ash waste (ABJ) as a cement substitution in concrete production. Additionally, the study investigates the effect of adding Sikacim (SC) on the concrete's compressive strength, slump value, and water absorption. The research methodology employed is experimental. Four types of trial mixes were conducted: BN (Normal Concrete), LG 3% ABJ 4% SC 0.7%, LG 5% ABJ 4% SC 0.7%, and LG 8% ABJ 4% SC 0.7%. The target strength is f’c 30 MPa with test specimens in the form of cylinders with a diameter of 15 cm and a height of 30 cm. The highest compressive strength at 28 days was observed in BN at 49.80 MPa, while the lowest was in LG 8% ABJ 4% SC 0.7% at 44.17 MPa. The lowest slump value was in BN at 10.5 cm, and the highest was in LG 8% ABJ 4% SC 0.7% at 11 cm. The highest water absorption was in LG 8% ABJ 4% SC 0.7% at 1.92%, and the lowest was in BN at 1.67%. The results indicate that as the percentage of LG substitution increases, the compressive strength decreases, the slump value increases, and the water absorption increases, although these values still meet the target strength. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pemanfaatan limbah granit (LG) sebagai substitusi agregat kasar dan limbah abu bonggol jagung (ABJ) sebagai substitusi semen dalam pembuatan beton. Dalam penelitian ini, juga ditambahkan bahan aditif Sikacim (SC), yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruhnya pada kuat tekan beton, nilai slump, dan daya serap air beton. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimental. Ada 4 (empat) macam trial mix yang dilakukan, yaitu BN (Beton Normal), LG 3% ABJ 4% SC 0,7%, LG 5% ABJ 4% SC 0,7% dan LG 8% ABJ 4% SC 0,7%. Mutu rencana adalah f’c 30 MPa dengan benda uji silinder diameter 15 cm dan tinggi 30 cm. Hasil kuat tekan pada umur 28 hari tertinggi pada BN sebesar 49,80 MPa, dan terendah pada LG 8% ABJ 4% SC 0,7% sebesar 44,17 MPa. Hasil slump terendah pada BN sebesar 10,5 cm, dan tertinggi pada LG 8% ABJ 4% SC 0,7% sebesar 11 cm. Hasil daya serap air beton tertinggi pada LG 8% ABJ 4% SC 0,7% sebesar 1,92%, dan terendah pada BN sebesar 1,67%. Dari hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa semakin tinggi persentase substitusi LG terhadap agregat kasar, maka kuat tekan beton semakin rendah, nilai slump semakin tinggi, dan daya serap air beton semakin tinggi, namun nilai tersebut masih masuk dalam mutu rencana.
