Abstract
The purpose of this study is to determine the difference between Abnormal Returns and trading volume activity before and after the simultaneous regional elections for the December 2020 period. The data used are LQ-45 stock data obtained from the Indonesia Stock Exchange website. This study uses different test analysis data processing using SPSS 25 software. The results obtained are that there are significant differences in LQ45 stock Abnormal Returns between before and after the 2020 Pilkada, and there is a change in trading volume activity between before and after the 2020 Pilkada. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui perbedaan Abnormal Return dan trading volume activity sebelum dan setelaj Pilkada serentak periode Desember 2020. Data yang digunakan data saham LQ-45 yang diperoleh dari website Bursa Efek Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan pengolahan data analisis uji beda menggunakan software SPSS 25. Hasil penelitian yang didapatkan adalah terdapat perbedaan Abnormal Return saham LQ45 yang signifikan antara sebelum dan setelah peristiwa Pilkada 2020, serta terdapat perubahan trading volume activity antara sebelum setelah peristiwa Pilkada 2020.
