Abstract

Prince Diponegoro is a hero known as the figure who brought Indonesia to independence. In order to pass down the ancestral story as a commemoration of Indonesia's independence, as the next generation is able to provide information about Indonesian heroes to commemorate and remember their sacrifices to fight for their homeland. Comics are entertainment media to provide information or stories followed by pictures. In the Gen Z era, especially Indonesian comic enthusiasts, there are now many, so the comic industry is progressing rapidly until now. However, over time, the digital era has entered the comic industry, and digital comics or webtoons have become a phenomenon for the younger generation. By designing a digital comic about Prince Diponegoro, Indonesia is able to bring the story of its ancestors by following the phenomenon of a new generation. Key Word: Comic, Prince Diponegoro, Digital, Ilustration Pangeran Diponegoro merupakan sosok pahlawan yang dikenal sebagai tokoh yang membawa Indonesia menuju kemerdekaan. Demi menurunkan kisah leluhur sebagai peringatan kemerdekaan Indonesia, sebagai generasi penerus mampu memberikan informasi tentang pahlawan Indonesia untuk mengenang dan mengingat pengorbanan mereka untuk memperjuangkan tanah air. Komik merupakan media hiburan untuk memberikan sebuah informasi atau cerita yang diikuti dengan gambar. Pada era Gen Z, khususnya peminat komik Indonesia sekarang sudah banyak, sehingga Industri komik makin maju pesat hingga sekarang. Seiring zaman, era digital telah memasuki industri komik, dan komik digital atau webtoon menjadi fenomema bagi generasi muda. Dengan merancang komik digital mengenai Pangeran Diponegoro, Indonesia mampu membawa kisah leluhur dengan mengikuti fenomena generasi baru. Key Word: Komik, Pangeran Diponegoro, Digital, Ilustrasi
