Abstract

The design of the library and art space with a biophilic design is innovative to provide a reading and activity environment that has a calm atmosphere and at the same time provides a natural view. In this planning, biophilic principles are applied by utilizing the connection between humans and nature. One of the important elements in this design is the optimal use of natural light and the separate shapes of the buildings which create the impression of the building in a forest. The library space is designed to be at the top giving the impression of floating, hovering in the middle of the forest so that the library will have a view of the lush green below. In addition, lots of vegetation is placed randomly (creating a forest atmosphere) on the site to further bring the biophilic design concept into the building design. Not only focusing on the visual aspect, library design with a biophilic approach also pays attention to optimal temperature regulation and air circulation. Using a building design with natural ventilation and placing water elements such as pools or ponds at the front of the site helps create a cool and comfortable atmosphere for visitors. Apart from that, environmentally friendly building materials and using natural materials such as wood, stone and palm fiber provide a warm and ecological touch in the design of this library. The biophilic concept can also be applied in room layout when building art spaces, by paying attention to natural aesthetic elements such as shapes and patterns which influence air circulation in the site which will bring a cool impression to the site. With a biophilic architectural approach, libraries and art spaces become more than just a place to store books, but also become an attraction in themselves, in that they can present a forest concept building in the city center, which connects people with nature and encourages the development of creativity and deeper understanding. about the world we live in. Perancangan perpustakaan dan ruang seni berdesain biofilik merupakan inovatif untuk membawa lingkungan baca dan berkraktivitas yang memiliki suasana tenang dan sekaligus menyajikan view alam. Dalam perencanaan ini, prinsip-prinsip biofilik diterapkan dengan memanfaatkan koneksi antara manusia dan alam. Salah satu elemen penting dalam perancangan ini adalah penggunaan cahaya alami yang optimal serta bentuk masa bangunan yang terpisah2 membuat kesan bangunan di dalam hutan makin tercipta. Ruang perpustakaan didesain berada di masa atas terkesan mengambang, melayang di tengah tengah hutan bertujuan agar nantinya perpustakaan memiliki view hijau rimbun di bawah. Selain itu, banyak vegetasi di letakan menyebar acak (menciptakan suasana hutan) di dalam site untuk membawa lebih lagi konsep design biofilik ke dalam design bangunan. Tidak hanya fokus pada aspek visual, perancangan perpustakaan dengan pendekatan biofilik juga memperhatikan pengaturan suhu dan sirkulasi udara yang optimal. Penggunaan desain bangunan dengan ventilasi alami dan penempatan elemen air seperti kolam atau pond di bagian depan site membantu menciptakan suasana sejuk dan nyaman bagi pengunjung. Selain itu, material bangunan yang ramah lingkungan dan menggunakan bahan-bahan alami seperti kayu, batu, dan ijuk memberikan sentuhan hangat dan ekologis dalam desain perpustakaan ini. Konsep biofilik juga dapat diaplikasikan dalam tata letak ruangan pada masa bangunan ruang ruang seni, dengan memperhatikan elemen estetika alami seperti bentuk, dan pola yang perpengaruh dengan sirkulasi udara dalam site yang nantinya membawa kesan sejuk di dalam site. Dengan pendekatan arsitektur biofilik, perpustakaan dan ruang seni jadi lebih dari sekadar tempat menyimpan buku, tetapi juga menjadi daya tarik tersendiri, bahwa dapat menghadirkan bangunan berkonsep hutan yang berada di pusat kota ,yang menghubungkan manusia dengan alam dan mendorong perkembangan kreativitas serta pemahaman yang lebih dalam tentang dunia yang kita tinggali.
