Abstract

The retail industry is one of the most important parts of the economy because it plays an important role in driving economic growth. This research aims to identify how retail employee performance contributes to the success of this industry. This research will investigate the relationship between performance, attitudes towards money and mental health and retail employee performance. For this research, a quantitative method was used where data was collected through surveys conducted on retail employees. The results of this study indicate that there is a favorable and significant relationship between performance variables and employee performance, mental health and attitudes towards money have a positive but not significant correlation with employee performance. The research results really help individuals understand the factors that influence employee performance and training and development programs such as employee welfare improvement programs and stress management programs for employees, especially in the retail sector. Industri retail adalah salah satu bagian ekonomi yang paling penting karena memainkan peran penting dalam mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi bagaimana kinerja karyawan retail berkontribusi pada keberhasilan industri ini. Penelitian ini akan menyelidiki hubungan antara attitude toward money dan mental health terhadap performance karyawan retail. Untuk penelitian ini, yang diterapkan ialah metode kuantitatif dengan cara data dikumpulkan melalui survey yang dilakukan pada karyawan retail. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwasanya terdapat pengaruh dan hubungan yang signifikan dalam variabel attitude toward money dan mental health memiliki pengaruh dan hubungan yang positif serta signifikan terhadap variabel performance. Hasil penelitian sangat membantu individu dalam memahami faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi kinerja karyawan dan program pelatiahan dan pengembangan seperti program peningkatan kesejahteraan karyawan dan program manajemen stress pada karyawan khususnya di bidang retail.
