Abstract
Lighting was very important thing for human life in fulfil daily life. Human activities in room could not be separated from the lighting system. The intensity of lighting was the mount of the light that arrived on a surface area. The amount of intensity in a room could be measured a lux meter. The measurement of the light intensity conducted was guided by SNI 16-7062-2004 about measurement lightning intensity. In the work place the measurement aimed to compare the result of measurement of the light intensity received with the standard value in accordance with the standards specified by SNI 6197:2011 and optimize it using simulation software (Dialux Evo 7.1). Optimal lighting design include : sky light, maintaining visual comfort, and keeping cool and saving energy (Harten P.Van, Setiawan E, 1985: 36- 42). In the optimization of things that were very influential was the opining and finishing material was the opining and finishing material for a room. This was the reference to do the optimization in the library room, Director and finance area of the study indicated an incrase the average illuminance in the library, director and finance area of the existing condition. By increasing the light intensity (lux) in room was expected an improvement effort in obtaining effective natural lighting. Pencahayaan merupakan hal yang sangat penting bagi kehidupan manusia dalam memenuhi kehidupan sehar-hari. Aktivitas dan kegiatan manusia didalam suatu ruangan tidak terlepas dari sistem pencahayaan. Intensitas pencahayaan adalah banyaknya cahaya yang tiba pada suatu luas permukaan. Jumlah intensitas dalam suatu ruangan dapat diukur dengan lux meter. Pengukuran intesitas cahaya yang dilakukan berpedoman pada SNI 16-7062-2004 tentang Pengukuran Intensitas Penerangan di Tempat Kerja. Pengukuran ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan hasil pengukuran intensitas cahaya yang diterima dengan nilai standar sesuai dengan standar yang telah ditentukan oleh SNI 6197:2011 dan mengoptimasikanya menggunakan software simulasi (Dialux Evo 7.1). Desain pencahayaan yang optimal meliputi : Optimasi kuantitas cahaya langit, menjaga kenyaman visual dan menjaga kesejukan, serta menghemat energy (Harten P.Van, Setiawan E, 1985: 36-42). Dalam optimasi hal yang sangat berpengaruh adalah bukaan dan material finishing untuk suatu ruangan. Hal ini lah yang di jadikan acuan untuk melakukan optimasi pada ruangan Library, Director, Finanace. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan iluminansi rata-rata pada area ruang Library, Director dan Finance dari kondisi eksisting. Dengan adanya peningkatan intensitas cahaya (lux) dalam ruang diharapkan adanya suatu usaha perbaikan dalam memperoleh pencahayaan alami yang efektif.
