Abstract
A mosque is the humans to interact with its creator, the mosque provide the comfort of an absolute maximum for its users. The factor that affects the level of comfort is the quality of lighting. The lighting of the natural as one of the factors that are important and need to be optimally used in planning a building. The quality of good lighting can be achieved if natural lighting applied the optimal, among others, by way of designing the design and arrangement of the opening of the room in order to achieve standards that are recommended. The study tried to optimize lighting a natural at the prayers the mosque. The method used is the measurement of existing the building. As a result of the measurement of the intensity of light existing to show that the prayers the Jami' Nurul Hikmah has not been optimally according SNI and the Minister of Health. Faktor yang mempengaruhi tingkat kenyamanan tersebut adalah kualitas pencahayaan. Pencahayaan alami sebagai salah satu faktor yang penting serta perlu dimanfaatkan secara optimal dalam perencanaan sebuah bangunan. Kualitas pencahayaan yang baik dapat tercapai jika pencahayaan alami teraplikasikan secara optimal antara lain dengan cara merancang desain dan penataan bukaan terhadap ruangan guna untuk tercapainya standar yang direkomendasikan. Penelitian ini mecoba mengoptimalisasi pencahahayaan alami pada ruang sholat masjid. Adapun metode yang digunakan yaitu pengukuran eksisting bangunan. Hasil dari pengukuran intensitas cahaya eksisting menunjukan bahwa ruang sholat Masjid Jami’ Nurul Hikmah belum optimal sesuai SNI dan Peraturan Menteri Kesehatan. Pada lantai 1 sebagian besar gelap.
