Abstract

After the occurrence of Covid-19, the world economy, including Indonesia, experienced a downturn, many sectors experienced financial difficulties with decreasing income and profits and even causing financial distress. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of liquidity, profitability and activity ratios on financial distress. The population in this study is financial data in the form of financial position reports and profit and loss reports for construction companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the last three years, namely 2020-2022. The number of construction companies is 10 (ten) companies so there are a total of 30 samples. The research method used in this research is the descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The variables used in this research are divided into 2, namely the independent variables (independent variables) Likuiditas, Profitabilitas, and Aktivitas, while the dependent variable (dependent variable) is Financial Distress. The research results show that liquidity has no effect on financial distress. Meanwhile, profitability and activity have an influence on financial distress. Pasca terjadinya Covid-19, keadaan ekonomi dunia termasuk indonesia mengalami keterpurukan banyak sektor yang mengalami kesulitan keuangan dengan menurunnya pendapatan dan laba bahkan menyebabkan financial distress. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh rasio likuiditas, profitabilitas, dan aktivitas terhadap financial distress. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah data keuangan dalam bentuk laporan posisi keuangan dan laporan laba rugi perusahaan konstruksi yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia selama tiga tahun terakhir yaitu tahun 2020-2022. Jumlah untuk perusahaan konstruksi berjumlah 10 (sepuluh) perusahaan sehingga terdapat total 30 sampel. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode descriptive dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Variabel yang digunakan didalam penelitian ini terbagi 2 yaitu variabel bebas (variabel independen) Likuiditas, Profitabilitas, dan Aktivitas, sedangkan variabel terikatnya (variabel dependen) Financial Distress. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa likuiditas tidak berpengaruh terhadap financial distress. Sedangkan profitabilitas dan aktivitas memiliki pengaruh terhadap financial distress. Kata Kunci : Likuiditas, Profitabilitas, Aktivitas, Konstruksi, Rasio Keuangan dan financial distress.
