Abstract
This study examines the effects of implementing Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) on work efficiency and worker mobility. The researchers conducted surveys before and after the implementation to collect data on user conditions and measure changes. Statistical analysis was used to test hypotheses, and the results showed that VDI implementation had a positive impact on work efficiency, data access speed, and the ability to work from multiple locations. The null hypothesis was rejected, and the alternative hypothesis was accepted, indicating a significant increase in productivity and user satisfaction with VDI. The findings highlight the benefits of investing in VDI to improve operational efficiency and support flexible work arrangements. The researchers suggest periodic evaluation, additional training, and adapting to advancements in VDI technology to ensure optimal performance.. Penelitian ini mengevaluasi dampak implementasi Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) terhadap efisiensi kerja dan mobilitas pekerja melalui dua tahap survei: pra-implementasi dan pasca-implementasi. Survei pra-implementasi mengumpulkan data awal kondisi pengguna sebelum penerapan VDI, sementara survei pasca-implementasi mengukur perubahan setelah VDI diterapkan. Analisis statistik digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis nol (H0) dan hipotesis alternatif (H1). Hasil menunjukkan bahwa implementasi VDI secara signifikan meningkatkan efisiensi kerja, kecepatan akses data, dan fleksibilitas bekerja dari berbagai lokasi. Hipotesis nol ditolak, dan hipotesis alternatif diterima, mengindikasikan peningkatan signifikan dalam produktivitas dan kepuasan pengguna terhadap sistem VDI. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa VDI adalah investasi yang berharga bagi organisasi untuk meningkatkan efisiensi operasional dan mendukung mobilitas kerja. Saran diberikan untuk evaluasi berkala, peningkatan pelatihan, dan penyesuaian terhadap perkembangan teknologi VDI guna memastikan kinerja optimal.
