Abstract
The design of the KyouHobbyShop 2D promotional animation aims to provide an engaging and interactive promotional solution for the shop. The design process involved qualitative research methods, including interviews, observations, and literature reviews, to gather data. The animation concept was developed based on the analysis of the target audience, client needs, and current visual and technological trends. The production process included stages such as storyboarding, character design, animation, and final compositing and editing. The result of this design is a 2D animation that combines visual elements with informative narration. This animation is expected to increase audience interest in KyouHobbyShop and assist in their product marketing efforts. The work was evaluated through exhibitions and feedback collection from visitors, showing positive responses to the visual quality and message delivery of the animation. Perancangan animasi 2D iklan KyouHobbyShop ini dilakukan untuk memberikan solusi promosi yang interaktif bagi toko tersebut. Dalam proses perancangannya, metode penelitian kualitatif digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi literatur. Konsep animasi dikembangkan berdasarkan hasil analisis terhadap target audiens, kebutuhan klien, serta tren visual dan teknologi terkini. Proses produksi melibatkan tahapan storyboard, desain karakter, animasi, hingga kompositing dan penyuntingan akhir. Hasil dari perancangan ini adalah sebuah animasi 2D yang menggabungkan elemen visual dengan narasi yang informatif. Animasi ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan minat audiens terhadap KyouHobbyShop dan membantu dalam upaya pemasaran produk mereka. Evaluasi terhadap karya dilakukan melalui pameran dan pengumpulan umpan balik dari pengunjung, yang menunjukkan respon positif terhadap kualitas visual dan penyampaian pesan animasi.
