Abstract

Natural ventilation in the mosque building is expected to fulfill the thermal comfort needs of mosque users to be more solemn in worship. Baitul Kurnia Mosque is a supporting facility to perform worship in the Giant Bintaro with the uniqueness of natural ventilation with the nako type on both sides of the wall is small and very large. Aiming to know the performance of ventilation with the nako type would affect the visitor perception of the thermal comfort. This study uses quantitative correlation method, comparing the measurement results at 24 points that have been selected with 200 questionnaires. Parameters focusing on ASHRAE standards, climate index are air temperature, radiation temperature, humidity and wind speed also individual factors which is activities and clothing. The measurement results show due to open nako simulation bringing wind speed of 0.6m/s can decrease the air temperature of 1.2ºc while at nako closed bringing wind speed of 0.1m/s only decrease to 0.6ºc. The questionnaire results are input into thermal comfort calculator software showing that simulations have a warm sensation and slightly warmth in both simulations. According to the results of PMV and PPD in closed nako simulation the inconvenience is very high that is 49% compared to 18% open nako time. Based on the thermal sensation that visitors perceived by the Actual Mean Vote (AMV) value indicates the simulation of open nako is 0.04 and also in the simulation of closed nako ventilation results show the Actual Mean Vote (AMV) 0.35 value means convenient because the number is between 0 and 1. This is influenced by the adaptation factor of the mosque and the behavior of visitors in daily use AC. Ventilasi alami pada bangunan masjid diharapkan dapat memenuhi kebutuhan kenyamanan termal para pengguna masjid agar lebih khusyuk dalam beribadah. Masjid Baitul Kurnia menjadi fasilitas penunjang untuk melakukan ibadah di kawasan perbelanjaan Giant Bintaro dengan keunikan berupa ventilasi tipe nako pada kedua sisi dinding berukuran kecil dan berjumlah sangat banyak. Bertujuan mengetahui kinerja ventilasi alami tipe nako sehingga mempengaruhi persepsi pengunjung terhadap kenyamanan termal ruang masjid. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif korelasi, membandingkan hasil pengukuran pada 24 titik penelitian yang telah ditentukan dengan 200 kuesioner pada saat kondisi simulasi nako terbuka dan tertutup. Parameter berfokus pada standar ASHRAE yaitu indeks iklim berupa suhu udara, suhu radiasi, kelembaban dan kecepatan angin serta faktor individu berupa aktifitas dan pakaian. Hasil pengukuran menunjukkan bahwa simulasi pada saat nako terbuka membawa kecepatan angin sebesar 0.6m/s dapat menurunkan suhu udara sebesar 1.2ºc sedangkan pada saat nako tertutup dengan kecepatan angin rata-rata 0.1m/s hanya menurunkan suhu udara sebesar 0.6ºc. Hasil kuesioner di input kedalam software thermal comfort calculator memperlihatkan simulasi memiliki sensasi termal hangat dan sedikit hangat pada kedua simulasi tersebut. Menurut hasil PMV dan PPD pada simulasi nako tertutup tingkat ketidaknyamanan sangat tinggi yaitu 49 % dibanding saat nako terbuka 18%. Berdasarkan sensasi termal yang dirasakan pengunjung menurut nilai Actual Mean Vote (AMV) menunjukkan pada simulasi ventilasi nako terbuka 0.04 dan pada simulasi ventilasi nako tertutup hasil menunjukkan nilai Actual Mean Vote (AMV) 0.35 yang berarti nyaman karena angka tersebut berada direntang antara 0 dan 1. Hal ini dipengaruhi faktor adaptasi terhadap masjid serta perilaku pengunjung dalam keseharian menggunakan AC.
