Abstract

The mall is a public place, a crowded object, and has the laying of a complex space. In Indonesia malls have a lot, more precisely in the Capital of Jakarta which is the main city in Indonesia. Every mall in Indonesia can be said to succeed as a business place whose activities there is no break except when the mall is closed. With the majority of Indonesian citizens are Muslim, can make the majority of mall visitors is a Islam religion. Muslims themselves have 5 times of praying time in a day. When visitors at the mall and have entered the time of praying, visitors will soon find a place of praying/musholla. Wayfinding plays an important role in finding a musholla. The purpose of this study is to find out what factors are most influential in the process of wayfinding musholla in the central park mall by visitors. The methods used are: 1) person centered maps, 2) interviews, with 18 participants. The results of this study show signage and landmark is the most influential factor in the process wayfinding musholla in central park mall. Mall merupakan tempat umum, objek keramaian, dan memiliki peletakan ruang yang kompleks. Di Indonesia sendiri mall sudah banyak, lebih tepatnya di Ibukota Jakarta yang merupakan kota utama di Indonesia. Setiap mall di Indonesia bisa dikatakan berhasil sebagai tempat bisnis yang aktivitasnya tidak ada jeda kecuali, saat mall itu tutup. Dengan mayoritas warga negara Indonesia beragama islam, dapat menjadikan mayoritas pengunjung mall beragama islam. Orang muslim sendiri memiliki waktu ibadah sebanyak 5 waktu dalam sehari. Ketika pengunjung di mall dan sudah masuk waktu ibadah, pegunjung akan segera mencari tempat ibadah/musholla. Wayfinding berperan penting dalam mencari musholla. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mencari tahu faktor-faktor apa saja yang paling berpengaruh dalam proses wayfinding musholla di mall central park oleh pengunjung. Metode yang digunakan adalah: 1) person centered maps, 2) wawancara, dengan jumah 18 partisipan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan signage dan landmark merupakan faktor yang paling berpengaruh dalam proses wayfinding musholla di mall central park.
