Abstract

PT. Surgika Alkesindo is one of the leading medical device distributors in Indonesia. Medical devices require strict storage standards, one of which is temperature and humidity. Improper temperature and humidity levels can cause damage to medical devices. Currently, PT. Surgika Alkesindo uses a manual system for monitoring and controlling temperature and humidity. Therefore, research needs to be conducted to develop a temperature and humidity monitoring and control system for the medical device warehouse of PT. Surgika Alkesindo based on the Internet of Things (IoT). In this study, two devices were created for monitoring and controlling temperature and humidity using an ESP32 microcontroller, DHT22 sensor, LCD (16x2 with I2C), fan, and Thingspeak platform that can monitor two different rooms simultaneously in real-time and can be accessed remotely. The temperature and humidity monitoring and control system was successfully designed and implemented using an ESP32 microcontroller, DHT22 sensor, LCD (16x2 with I2C), fan, and Thingspeak IoT platform. This system can measure and monitor temperature and humidity in real-time. The average temperature measurement error on device 1 is 2.6%, and on device 2 is 2.3%, while the average humidity measurement error on device 1 is 2.5% and on device 2 is 2.1%. Each device will control the fan to turn on if the temperature exceeds 30°C and turn off if it falls below 30°C. Alat-alat kesehatan memiliki standar penyimpanan yang ketat, salah satunya adalah suhu dan kelembaban. Suhu dan kelembaban yang tidak sesuai dapat menyebabkan kerusakan pada alat kesehatan. Saat ini, PT. Surgika Alkesindo menggunakan sistem monitoring dan kontrol suhu dan kelembaban secara manual. Oleh karena itu, maka perlu dilakukan penelitian untuk membuat sistem monitoring dan kontrol suhu dan kelembaban pada gudang alat kesehatan PT. Surgika Alkesindo berbasis Internet of Things (IoT). Pada penelitian ini telah dibuat dua buah alat sistem monitoring dan kontrol suhu dan kelembaban menggunakan mikrokontroler ESP32, sensor DHT22, LCD (16x2 dengan I2C), kipas angin dan Thingspeak yang dapat memonitoring dua ruangan berbeda sekaligus secara real time dan dapat diakses dari jarak jauh. Pada penelitian ini, sistem monitoring dan kontrol suhu dan kelembaban berhasil dirancang dan diimplementasikan menggunakan mikrokontroler ESP32, sensor DHT22, LCD (16x2 dengan I2C), kipas angin dan platform IoT Thingspeak. Sistem ini dapat mengukur dan memantau suhu serta kelembaban secara real time. Error rata-rata pengukuran suhu pada alat 1 sebesar 2.6% dan pada alat 2 sebesar 2.3%, sedangkan error rata-rata pengukuran kelembaban pada alat 1 sebesar 2.5% dan pada alat 2 sebesar 2.1%. Masing-masing alat akan mengontrol kipas angin untuk menyala jika suhu diatas 30°C dan akan mati jika dibawah suhu 30°C.
